Ok, hobbies, this is just from my experience with canned potatoes and my liking. If you drain them and slice them up, pretty good fryed potatoes. Great for parsley potatos and soup, just dump the whole jar. They don't do good as French fries or mashed potatos. Everything else seems to be good.
@1:17 triggered a hazy memory of getting stoned with a great dane back in college... A few summers when I was a kid back in western PA we had a massive multi family garden. Had to be 100ft square and we planted everything including 3 rows of potatoes. We had a root cellar dug under the front porch that had crates the size of twin beds that were three feet high filled with potatoes, onions, carrots, and all kinds of other stuff. We froze quart bags of corn, canned tomatoes, green beans, etc. Between that stuff, venison, and sometimes a half of beef, we rarely had to go to the store. It was great!
@@brokeloader I’ve got good memories of getting yelled at in my grandmothers garden for pulling up the baby carrots and eating them before they were ready to harvest. They were sweeter when they were little. Getting your kid into being self sufficient is a good skill I’m sure he’ll appreciate his whole life
You’ve got to be patient to grow carrots. I put radishes in with my carrots. They’re ready to harvest before they get in the way of the carrots. I don’t really like radishes too much but they’re good in sweet horseradish pickles. Cheers!
Got to stay hydrated 👍🍻
Absolutely, i don't wanna to dry out by the time i get there.
Never really thought about doing canned potatoes, gonna look into it! Excellent!

Thanks MCK
Maybe Garden buddy is a Bud light guy, good thing he didn’t drink all of it. 🤭😂 I was wondering if you are going to eat all or store some potatoes. 👍
Yup, storing it. I think garden buddy liked the lager better.
