I had the pleasure of learning from Akshay on a study abroad this summer with the University of Pittsburgh and he is an amazing person! An expert who truly believes in what he is teaching, and is a great mentor. You will not find anyone as knowledgeable and passionate about the outdoors and wilderness medicine as him. Not to mention one of the most caring people I have ever met.
