  • This is the best product that I have come across for protecting you tires, rubber and plastic. It stays black for a long time and it protects against UV.

    The question is, is the cheap shit a UV Protectant?I live in Arizona and 303 keeps everything feeling and looking new like tires and plastic trim.I use it on the dash and interior trim every 2 to 3 car washes and all my vehicles still look like new.I spray it on and use a 303 soaked tiny sponge and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes before wiping again witha lightly sprayed sponge. I never buff it off. When I do my tires and wheels, I clean the wheels and tires and rinse and then I lightly blow the water off with a leaf blower and spray the tires and wipe the overspray off the rims and leave the tires alone and after the water dissipates I reapply another light mist to the tires and I don't wipe them off.When I do my engine bay I spray Simple Green and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and using a garden hose and nozzle I rinse everything off and just spray the entire engine and all the plastic and hoses and when the water dissipates I spray a light mist over everything again. Once you clean everything, 303 will make the next cleaning much faster as it repels the dirt under the hood. It also keeps electrical connections under the hood from corroding and is compatible with WD40. I've been using Aerospace 303 for over 10 years and not once have I had an issue with weather cracked tires.Remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for". Amazon or eBay has it for just under $38.00 a gallon Free Shipping.By the way, I have 3 trucks and 2 cars and a Harley Road King that get the Aerospace treatment not to mention my 5 trailers and all look very presentable when showing up at a jobsite.

      Armour all makes things nice and shines well, but I don't think it offers protection like 303. I really don't like the greasy look anyways and 303 just gives it a nice black look after it dries. Not greasy like Armour all and really doesn't attract a lot of dust. My kids are all grown up. Even when they were young I tought them to be very respectful towards the vehicles so it was never an issue. That's what floor mats are made for. They cover the carpet so it remains clean. What's worse, a little protectant on the bottom of your shoe or all of the filth on a parking lot? Gum, spit, etc not to mention the asphalt itself which is a (petroleum) product. Your argument is kinda silly. If you like it then use it, if not then don't. Won't bother me either way.

    Does the 303 Protectant really make the tread of the tires last longer? About a year or so ago, some video circulated making that assertion. But, it was later shown that the maker of the video had a financial interest in the 303 stuff. I'd like to know if anyone else has any observations to share.

    • @vegasfordguy
      @vegasfordguy  5 років тому +2

      Do you know the link to the video? I'd like to see it. I know the 303 from years ago was an excellent product and was made for the Areospace industry. 303 has redesigned their labeling in recent years and has added many new products. I believe another company (Eagle) if I'm not mistaken has purchased 303. I could be wrong. Anyways, I called and spoke to a representative about the new product labeling and he assured me that it was the same formula as before. Whether it is or not I don't really know. I do know that the original from years ago was fantastic and I'm hoping it's the same formula. It's not greasy like Armour all or other products and it does penetrate the rubber if used as directed. Only time will tell. I only use 303 on my tires and rubber/plastic trim. I've seen the video where a guy soaked his serpentine belt in it and claimed to get hundreds of thousands of miles out of it. I'm not about to soak my engines drive belt in anything though. That's just me. Let me know if you find anything more out. Try a bottle and see what you think. I order the gallon size on Amazon.
