I can't wait to see kids who start playing disc golf here make it to the Pro Tour. Wouldn't it be cool to see Paul on a Jomez lead card with a up and coming Mexican pro disc golfer?
Who's going to win?? Both Paul and Joey will get two off the tee every hole for a total of 18 holes on this 9 hole course. Give the vid a thumbs up if you think Paul wins. Comment below if you think Joey wins.
Man I'm always rooting for the underdog, so I'm not usually cheering on Mcbeth. But I can tell through Jomez coverage just how intelligent and great Paul is, and I definitely wish him all the best.
This video is so inspiring! I'm bilingual and can speak Spanish fluently. I want to start a UA-cam vlog en Español and English. Para la Raza🇲🇽 Este video me da mucho gozo y Paz. Muchas gracias🙏
For a smaller course, it looks like a blast to play. A HUGE congrats to Paul McBeth and his foundation for taking the sport to new levels in new places!
This is just great! My wife and I speak Spanish and really love the content! What a fun project for the community! Watched the building of it too which was so cool! You guys rock!
Out in phoenix if we hit the saguaro cactus we add a penalty stroke. Those things are so beautiful, maybe have a sign on the first tee explaining that!! This course reminds me a bit of buffalo ridge here in phoenix, Great work!
Awesome work guys! I live in Mazatlan, and there's a very popular 18 hole ball golf course out here. Every time we drive by it I imagine how awesome it would be if we could add a DG course to it. Mexico needs more DG courses!
This walk-through would have really helped before playing the course. It was really, really hot on the day that we played. If you get a chance, go play. Leave all of your distance drivers at home. A putter and a couple midranges in the luggage made for a fun adventure. La Paz is very beautiful! You will have a great time guaranteed.
Love the landscape. Beautiful! The wind wasn't evident in moving foliage but so clear on how much the disc moved in the air. What a great great course for young players and families. Nice day out and getting some exercise.
Great video and hopefully a kickoff for DG in Mexico. Me and my wife are planning to move to Mexico but the lack of DG courses makes it difficult. Who decided to use white baskets? Everything else so thought through but white in a desert? Perhaps they can be seen better in real 🤘🏻😎.
I love how the baskets color-blend with the scenery. The only way to see them is to see geometric shapes against an organic backdrop. Awesome course, guys
@@MetaltManiac While watching I was curious if it was intentional to reduce visual disturbance, or if they got some nice baskets that just happened to be nearly the same color as everything else.
I love how a $10mil contract and GOAT status does not change how much of a little kid Paul McBeth is. Just like any of us out there on the disc golf course. Humbling.
Ohhhh ya lol, the whole vid there were subtle jabs back and forth. I have a sneaking suspicion that they were irritating each other, there were so many hyper competitive comments from Joey. Paul seemed to notice it and take it in stride, staying professional and keeping the tone respectful, but also including some subtle jabs as well: "Look at that, it matches, here and here. I just call it like I see it, we're honest people around here". Lol I love it. OR, it's fake animosity to generate comments......like this one. ;)
@@joeytemali9672 Love it. On the outside lookin in it's sometimes hard to tell the nature of comments, glad to hear it's all in good jest. My favorite cards to be on at league night are with s**t talkers, adds that extra spice! :)
I felt like it was all in good fun. Fun to see Paul looking really relaxed and just having a good time! I assume Paul and Joey are fairly good friends since Paul asked the guy to come with him to Mexico for this - can't just have been because he knows Spanish. Great job guys!
Awesome beginner pitch and putt course. Such a different topography than Im used to. Thats the type of course I would play almost every day if it were within walking distance from my place.
I like seeing them grab each others discs from the baskets - something that my group likes to do for each other. Glad to see some comradery between these 2
I have some gravely courses near my house that tear up my discs a lot, I wonder how bad the discs get wrecked on this course! Looks so beautiful though!
Discraft doesn't really make a lot of baskets. All they have in production stock are the light portable baskets and not real hefty baskets that can withstand the weather.
For how short that course is it looks surprisingly tough I thought we were gonna see them shoot 17-18 down but wow that’s awesome great course great cause
Some people's mommas never taught 'em that if you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all. This course is an act of charity from P McB and a few other folks. Even still, I think it looks awesome and needs no excuses made for it. Ultimately it's for kids (and probably a couple adults) to learn the game and fall in love with it. I think the course is perfectly capable of achieving that. The course on which I fell in love with discgolf was a hideous, poorly designed, unmaintained 9-hole, 4-basket track in marshy woods. It doesn't take much.
Love the course, awesome terrain. Also, love the charity idea! However, the ONLY thing I could think about the entire time was 'there HAS to be a snake in there...'
Paul should reconsider some of those basket locations that bring cacti into play. They are soft bodied plants that won’t survive many disc hits. I love what Paul is doing but just a little more care in basket placement would show good stewardship of the local environment while still allowing his mission to be fulfilled.
Ho no Paul u missed a line , u should have hit that drone :) .. I bet jomez would have not trusted any other to throw disc towards a drone … loved that capture
Thought I was watching disc golf until the end when Joey thanked Rancho El Camino and the camera quickly panned to a guy with a shovel and it turned out the whole time it was murder scene.
I really hope disc golf valley makes a version of La Paz!!
If they do, I’ll destroy it with my Keystone. 😂
Yeah every hole would be 60m!! They could do what they did with DDO and just make it longer.
I mean... Coyote Canyon fits the theme. Just longer distances.
A super technical distance putter course could be interesting though
I hope they do it, and make us pay for it, that way all profits can go back to the foundation
I can't wait to see kids who start playing disc golf here make it to the Pro Tour. Wouldn't it be cool to see Paul on a Jomez lead card with a up and coming Mexican pro disc golfer?
Paul- The wind just took it
“I didn’t think there was any wind”
*silence* 😂😂😂
Paul using this opportunity to beat in some new buzzzes lol
Who's going to win?? Both Paul and Joey will get two off the tee every hole for a total of 18 holes on this 9 hole course. Give the vid a thumbs up if you think Paul wins. Comment below if you think Joey wins.
I would like to comment about my thumbs up given.
The Preying Mantis eyes will win. Paul will be blinded by the Mexico light.
Reminds me of a Disc golf valley course 🥏
Yeaaa, sure does. Also, I'm loving that new Pioneer course, new longest drive on that downhill island hole lol. :)
Absolutely beautiful course! I hope PM puts in more courses around the world to bring the joy of disc golf to people everywhere.

Also another stroke if you can't pronounce it right 🌵
What a fabulous video! Thanks for sharing with us. Thanks to Paul for putting the new course together. The Mexican children are greatly benefiting.
It's so awesome that Paul did this.
Looks awesome, ace run courses are fun and it is in beautiful Mexico.
sitting in my truck having lunch in the cold nw rain. that place looks pretty nice! nice work pablo
This is such a huge thing for those kids to have something else to have fun looking forward to. Sweet course!

Looking at this course makes my discs hurt; so many rocks! Great to see Paul giving back and growing the sport.
Thank you team Jomez. 🙏
Vamos Pablo Macbeth!
Everytime Paul says "cactuses" he should have a one stroke penalty. 😂😂

This was intended! 🙌🏼 I couldn’t agree more. It’s seamless with the landscape

Great to see the first course installation is complete. The course looks quite fun! I'll bet the youth at the ranch love to play it! Nice work PMF!
I was in Cabo a few weeks ago and wanted to take a day trip to play this course but never made it. Looks like a good time.
reminds me of the course in springdale, ut. rustic, short, technical, deserty, l ike it. 9x2, where you're playing two from each teeing area.

Amazing! Such a cool course!

Looks like a fun track. And the safari potential is pretty high too. You know those kids there will be putting in some long tees in a few months.
so good guys keep up the good work

Good work guys, it's on the DG bucket list now 😁
I'm just here for the Heimberg references. Just kidding -- great video!
I’m sitting here waiting for the “Why are cactuses” merch to drop.
The fun part of this course, if you toss it in the drink you can have a strong chance of sparking original life

I don't know, i think i'd want fewer brambles on the greens.
This is one of my favorite courses. You got aces, beautiful scenery, potential death and beautiful sand. Such a cool and unique course
🤣
What this place needs is some small cloth awning/canopies every or every other hole.
