This monster of a course is opening this Friday April 9th! We had the pleasure of playing this par 68 layout to start breaking it in last weekend. This is Pauls new home course and also mostly his design. I was blow away by how much work and effort was put into this course and totally love these tee pads! Huge thanks to everyone involved in this project and GREAT JOB!! Can't wait to play it again. I think it's one of my new favorite courses in the USA!

Dang Simon shreds a course when he is forced to just throw more controlled shots.
Safe Simon would be fun to watch on tour every now and then, just to see the wins roll in
I'm going to follow their lines - Simon Lizotte 🤣
You will never hear anyone saying this to Simon.
The same goes to many lower level players, both pros and amateurs. Lot of people uses fast drivers when safe play with a putter or midrange would be a better option for a result and so on.
Smart game works basically for everyone, but a lot of people don't play it. I am one of those, but I like to have fun and try weird or crazy things sometimes even when I know that it might hurt my round.
Yeah, controlled shots that are still longer that 90% of player base. 😁
Yea, if Simon keeps that control and slowly adds just a bit power to it, little by little, he will be unstoppable, those putts though
Gotta love this collab between Simon and Paul lately, they truly are 100% buddies, despite the competitiveness during bigger events. They keep it real and fun :)
seriously, paul, simon, and eagle need to do something together. maybe a series or something. like top 10 rated courses in the USA or something along those lines... that's serious content. thx again for everything!!!
@@projectdynasty7536 that sounds like an awesome series, then they can invite a local that runs the course or plays it alot, that can give some backround for it as well!
I agree. Paul's love of the sport, Simon's love of life, and their friendly competitiveness is really authentic and fun to watch
@@sw2542 They can call it "Three Men and a Baby." I've got a few easy local courses I'd love them to slice up.
Simon with a rangefinder, control and good decision-making might be hard to beat
Pretty sure hes hard to beat as is 😂
Scarily so
Yup simon you will be champ whit not mutch simon linens😅
"might"?
Simon and ricky. Shake n bake
I think Simon is realizing now he has plenty of power for any course at 80%
Exactly, I love the flair, but I hope he clubs down a bit and does more "Paul lines" lol. I just love watching him do well in tournaments, he's such a nice and genuine dude.
We can only hope he see's this comment. What a boost
Looked more like 60%
I've been saying for several years that simon would literally win everything if he just played smart. He has all the disc throwing ability and power to boot when he needs it.
Honestly I think Simon is a natural showman more than he is a fierce competitor. I've long thought that in terms of raw talent he's top 5, he just uses that talent to push the envelope and I appreciate that. Nobody can win every tournament but Simon has the capability to be the most entertaining player at whatever tournament he enters.
it will never cease to amaze me the sound of the discs when these guys throw them. You can literally hear the air trying to get out of the way.
some of the sounds you hear especially the small “cracks” are actually the disc breaking the sound barrier!!! Shits crazy
I highly doubt that. Simon's world record fastest recorded disc throw is around 95 mph.
@@austinthrowsstuff Actually that's the sound of the disc breaking through to the 4th dimension. The more you know..🌠
Yeah these are fast throws with a lot of spin but nowhere close to a disc's critical mach number. Even if that were humanly possible, the shockwaves that form at transonic speeds would destroy the disc's ability to generate lift.
@@scottdotjazzman it’s at the tip of the whip. Not the full disc itself.
"I'm playing the course blind, im just going to follow their lines" ... Simon holds the box for almost every hole
”You took my box man” lmao Paul is in competitive mode
Well he meant he jumped the box since he had eagled and Simon birdied the previous hole.
Simon - bangs 40 foot putt
Nick: Good baskets
Simon: -_- That was a good putt!!!
salty af haha
@@buxyman123 Competitive af. Man worked for that putt, haha.
Nick is a killjoy and a habitual complainer. I would love a video without him.
Things world champions say: "Can you tap out my eagle for me?"
Things I’ll never get to say
Simon: "I think you almost killed your wife"
Paul: "I should have a look"
This had me dying haha
Maybe getting injured and forcing yourself to throw nice and easy is a blessing in disguise. You have been shredding it lately in the videos I have seen, form is on point and your angle control seems better than you were pre injury. Great video man!
Lol @Hannah “paaaked it” the Bostonian accent. 👌🏻
Smaaht Paahk!!
Timestamp please? As much I would like to see the video again, I just can't atm 😄
@@Noxtrot 14:13
Let’s go Simon an Paul one of the best duos and have nick in make an terrific trio!
@Kingston Ayaan stop trying to get people to pay for this crap. Get a faithful girlfriend. Man your all over these fn videos
@Donald Carello scammer
@Donald Carello yea it worked all right. How much did you pay for it
@Donald Carello double botting? 🤮
I feel like we’ve gone from crazy fun cousin Simon (but mostly crazy), to super fun and reliable Uncle Simon.
Simon, your game is looking really good
It’s insane
"Good baskets...." I'm definitely gonna use this on the course when someone makes a big putt 😂😂😂
Incredibly excited for this video. I been waiting. Last video from Paul has to be one of my favorite disc golf videos yet.
Paul is absolutely shook at simon just blitzing this course blind
XD
“Good baskets”
I need Hannah in the background commentary on every disc golf video ever
The sound at 3:49 is glorious
Dear God 😯
Simon: I'm just aiming for it.
also Simon: Don't hit it.
This made me laugh way harder than it probably should have. hahahaha
Wish I could "protect my arm" with that sort of distance...
Right. His 75 percent is my 250 percent.
Now I see why Paul said Simon isn’t ready for the pro tour yet😂
Because he’s scared he’s gonna take the world title from him this year?? 😂
He said he was ready for tournaments, the tour week after week of practice and playn needing big shots and staying on the road is a differrent thing wear and tear wise
That's totally something someone who's intimidated would say lol
Love seeing the pros struggle, in good fun of course. Simon's looking like he's not too far from being tour ready. Hope he comes back stronger than ever.
I think Simon is ready to come back. If he takes Paul lines instead of his usual lines, he's going to be a problem. I hope you're feeling better Simon.
I think he said he's going to come back in May.
This is his way of slowly ramping up I think
Paul at the end of a previous video: You're not ready for the Pro Tour, but you're probably ready for an average tournament.
Simon: Let's check out that new course of yours and keep score and see how things go for you...
“that looked so good, i don’t know why it turned over” ... this is me every day.
I am more like "I thought I threw it flat, why did it leave my hand with a 45 degree hyzer?" Long snowy winter left a mark in my angle control 😅
@@outandabout259 Long winter and a shoulder/arm injury has done the same for me but in like everything, haha. Feels like I have to start from scratch again. My release angle is totaly wild and I can barely get the most understable discs to turn atm... Well well...
@@1Dreamking I also lost some 30 meters / 100 feet of distance in my drive 😬 luckily my practising place is getting dry so I can go sort out my technique again.
@@outandabout259 Yeah spring and sun is coming for us nordics. =)
Does not get better than this. The heart of disc golf by the best in the world. Great stuff. Thank you for putting it out.
I love the comradery between simon and paul...
Love the wind ripping sound of Simon's disc at 3:50. Several other throws by all players had great audio of the discs ripping the wind. That mic is crazy good for disc golf.
I saw Nate & Paul in person when they came to my city and that’s the one thing that stuck with me. The sound of the disc is crazy! I’d been playing for 3 years at that point but had never heard anything like it from locals.
It's the sound of the disc hitting the branches. It's just a little toss from the woods, you can see how far it goes... Just because it comes off Simon's hand doesn't mean it's a rocket :D.
@@Naegimaggu I didn't think he threw that hard either. I listened a few more time and I now think it was traffic noise reflecting from the disc. Still, that's a crazy good mic pick-up. It wasn't hitting any branches during the whoosh sound over the fairway.
@@kenta3148 I listened it again with headphones to hear it more clearly and now I'm thinking it's an added sound effect, I think that would be a thing Simon would do :D.
@Naegimaggu - I don't think it's an added effect. You can hear it on Paul's shot at 16:12 as well, and I heard lower volume sounds on some other shots too. I think it depends on the angle of the disc and the placement of the camera. On that one at 3:50 at @Kent A mentioned, the camera is in front of the throw, and the bottom of the disc (which is on hyzer) is facing the camera, so the sound seems to be loudest coming off the bottom of the disc as it's thrown.
Simon looking damn sharp, get back on tour!!!
It’s so awesome how Paul genuinely cares about Simon.. “just don’t throw it hard Simon.”
Yo the noise that disc made at 3:48 was so satisfying.
This is the message I was lookin for before making the same comment. Sounded like a jet taking off.
Loving Simmons less aggressive approach. Watch out. I am loving these videos you and Paul do together.
I hope your injury is feeling better Simon. I always enjoy watching you play!
There needs to be a professional tournament out here
That's Paul's plan
Watching this video made me happy to see pros do the same thing I do, pick up whatever disc they threw and putt it after they missed with a putter
Good to see you throwing so smoothly.
Let’s go Simon posting so much love the dedication simon
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Take a handful of these, you clearly run out ;)
Paul dominates expanding disc golf. He's a treasure.
So great to see you back throwing Simon!
that sound from paul at 3:50 WOOOOOOOSH!
What a frickin course!! It's so peaceful ...
Simon just keeps better and better. I wish i was just half that good.
Simon’s casual level is near his pro level. Paul’s casual vs “in the zone” levels are so different. Fun to see the difference in mentality.
New into the sport and it’s nice to see pros are videoing everything. It’s fun to see.
3:50 that sound is amazing
Oh boy, I live in Gloucester Va and I'm real tempted to come up for the opening 😬
I’m so happy to see Simon throwing discs again. I know he is still battling his injury but I hope all is well Simon it’s a pleasure to watch
I played this course for the first time this weekend and shot a 6 on hole 6 and now feel content with my life.
Guys, after watching these last couple videos with Simon and Paul I've come to a conclusion.
Simon's really REALLY good at disc golf. This elbow injury may be the greatest thing to ever happen to him, because he is crushing it when he goes at like half(?) his normal throw. 2022 could be really fun to watch folks.
@15.36 I love seeing how Paul is looking out for Simon’s injury. Great sportsmanship between two competitors.
Listening to the snap coming off those discs is absolutely unreal!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Paul and Simon videos are the best👍
Love seeing me some Simon playing disc golf again ❤️😎
Simon you are my favourite discgolfer, greetings from estonia. Keep up good work :)
The snap that comes out of pauls throw is so nice.
So fun to watch you guys throw together 😃
I'm honestly so impressed at Simon's ability to keep his power under control. Kudos to you Simon. Great design Paul! Bucket list course now for sure!
So good to see you so relaxed Simon. Way to go!
Paul (to Simon): You're not tour ready
Simon: And I took that personally
You both are so much fun to watch together!
I love the direction guys like you and Paul are taking the game of disc golf. Keeping it light hearted yet professional. Thank you for the videos and I look forward to seeing a 60 year old Simon Lizotte on an ace run!
I really freaking hope you can continue throwing that damn smooth very inspirational for me to remember to slow down and try to focus on the basics!
Great videos with Paul! Wow you're gonna be an even bigger threat then ever before!! Good luck and keep on keeping on
I totally love the two camera filming! It's incredibly easy to watch in comparison with one camera from the tee. Really makes the viewer experience enjoyable, even for a practice round.
What we really need is a Simon mcbeth, eagle, Calvin, Jones video in our life Simon! You’re the guy to make it happen!!!!
I love that Paul is constantly looking out for Simon's arm.
Love this! U guys rocked!
Impressamazing, I loved that course and nice throws!
Dang Simon you are looking so good! I feel like I hit the lotto, getting to see you and Paul play twice today! You can't imagine how enjoyable this was to watch! THANKS!
Congrats!
Hope to see this in future tours!
Very cool. Great to see you playing and feeling well, and to see this course. I guess we'll all just have to wait and hope the back 9 gets posted in the next week sometime.
So awesome to see Simon throwing again. Hope to see him on tour soon.
Really enjoying these videos with Paul. (Yesterday's on his channel was great. Total Simon finish to the round! ) This course looks a little out of this mere mortal's league, but I look forward to attempting it sometime. So glad you are throwing again and posting more often. Take care!
Holy moly! This is fantastic!
So cool to see Paul and Hanna at the grand opening this morning! Too bad Simon couldn't stick around.
So happy to see more Simon :)

Gotta get up to play this course for sure

LOL. I love the ending, pure gold.
I laughed out loud so many times after Simon's shots just blast or go in from huge...just too funny. I love Simon!
Beautiful looking course. Maybe one day, you never know.
