    Weird story. I got an Blue one 85 flex p29 and weighed it. It was 405gm. Broke it and got the chrome version same specs and it came in at 385gm. I know the colour didn’t matter but weird how sticks has such a different weight. Anyways you’re bang on. It’s a beefed up version of the FT4 pro. Shoots nice and definitely a great twig.

      Man, that is weird. That’s like someone accidentally made half of a stick! Lol.

    i agree true mid-kick sticks always feel whippier than their advertised flex as compared to low

      It’s a variant flex point

    That p90tm is a real enigma lol.
    Glad to hear you have liked it so far. I’m also super interested to see how long it lasts you since the as4 seemed to really hang on for you. The blue is sick

      Yeah, I know you’re not a big fan of that curve, but I’m a playmaker and value passing and control over all else. The P90TM seems to fill that role pretty well. And I’m not sure why the AS4 lasted as long as it did, but I break all sticks the same way; the blade starts squeaking and gets too soft to use. Anyways, I’m loving the Ft5. Hopefully it lasts and keeps getting me a goals here and there.

      @@irishmanwrx7715 It did, but holy crap it lasted a long time! I think it made it until 7/2024 (I gave it to a friend). Currently Warrior is making the most durable sticks in regard to top-end sticks.

      @@mongillohockey im down to a clearance ft5 pro and a clearance alpha lx pro 179 for the warrior 199 for the ccm boomer says ft5 because we don't know if it is an OG lx pro (mexico or china) and stick talk said alpha lx whats your say!? they are for a rugged defenceman that takes all shot types so durability is important

    How do u get a blue ft5 pro?

    • @mongillohockey
      @mongillohockey  2 роки тому

      It was a limited run or retail sticks. Not only do they have red and blue, but also a blacked out version. They’re all the same as retail, it’s just a color thing. The cost is $339 USD, so it doesn’t cost anymore than a normal red one. I happened to have stumbled across this one in a local shop. The only way for sure to find one is to buy mine from me off SidelineSwap.

    Is the P90TM a Max Height blade? Looks fat! Haha
    I wonder if CCM sells a P90 without the fat max blade

    • @mongillohockey
      @mongillohockey  2 роки тому +1

      Hey there, it's a chunky blade, but not technically max height like the Bauer version of the P92. It's a little taller than a standard height P92. Also, the P90TM shoots pretty close to the P29, but not quite as hard. It's better at stick handling and passing in my mind. Additionally, the blade of the P90TM is thicker than the P29. This makes it slightly more dampened.

      @Diglet45 LOL yeah, these manufacturers sure aren't giving this stuff away for free, are they. This is part of the reason I do these reviews. I have access to this stuff and can maybe help save people some cash or at least make them confident they got their money's worth.
