Adding a Shadow in Photoshop: Two Powerful Techniques

In this video, I share two techniques for adding shadows in Adobe Photoshop.
The first technique uses the Photoshop Drop Shadow Layer Style. This adds a shadow behind an object as if a light is shining above it. In the second technique, we manually add a shadow by duplicating an object. We then use the Photoshop Transform tools to produce a shadow, as if a light is behind the object.
Whilst the video demonstrates adding shadows to text, you can use the same techniques to add shadows to anything.
