Herman is a beast. His picking is amazing. As for the plug in, I already have more than I need with the Fractal, but I sure sounds amazing. Maybe I'll buy to try something different here and there.
I grabbed this after watching your review. I am kind of new to plugins/digital recording and I have tried a few like Amplitube and Neural(free trials) and for me this is my favorite so far. All of the presets are great and easy to tweak to your liking. The interface is great and easy to use. Completely usable right out of the box but super easy to modify and save. Love this plugin.
These days you don't buy expensive gear for sounds, but more for features (say, two way floyd rose), comfort and longevity (implies build quality). In digital world the analog sounds don't matter much, as only extra trained ears can hear the missing frequencies and that's like 1% of the audience.
