This guys voice is incredible could listen to it all day long, just like Magic Slim. Why isn't this kind of music popular instead of pop and hip hop makes no sense.
It's just because people need nowadays everything as simple as possible. The same beat, the same singing style. And everything to be packed in attractive appearance. People aren't used to thinking. Superficial generation.
@@proudlymadeinpoland + Gregory don't diminish the value of that which you don't understand, bear in mind you're only listening to 12 bars of three chords with 5 instruments, so calling hip-hop simple is a rather acute way of thinking about music. Don't get me wrong, this music is the bollox, Primer is class, the harp rocks on this track - I'm blues thru and thru but the its horses for courses in music and Dilla is a GzA.
I was trying to buy gas this evening with Apple Pay but my phone died. This guy paid for my gas and wouldn’t let me pay him back once I got It on. He’s a class act and I’m excited to get into his music!
Looked up primer due to him being mentioned in the latest jack reacher novel. Phenomenal riffs and solos, and sounds to me like a classic blues voice. Thanks for the pick reacher

Agree….just wish for horns and keyboards along with . I learned about blues and developed my taste through the Bob Reidy blues band in the 70’s. It was the best blues ever. I’ve never experienced anything like it since. I saw that band at a bar called Lizzards Underground every time they came to town from Chicago. Lizards underground was just across the street from Michigan state university. I had two albums from them ….my ex let them melt in the Trunk of his car😢
