I think we’re getting a proper season 2 (gundams are usualy 2 25 ep seasons) and eri is gonna end up as a gund bit, and her and the other repli children are gonna become part of the calibarn. Would give the calibarn the blue it current has none of for a protagonist’s gundam.

@@KuroSys I've been told that the ending of the first season of either 00 or IBO was marketed as The Final Episode as well. With how popular the show has been, it will be insane to me if they don't do more with the setting.
@KuroSys they'll be a season 2 , it'll be a time skip with probably a cold war between SAL and the Group , there's been literally nothing about Earth and its oppression since Saddiq was defeated, they have too many plot threads to finish in 1 episode and with how much money the gunpla had been making they'll be a season 2

I’m choosing to believe she is not dead yet. Too little closure and Aerial’s head,chest and bits are still rather intact,usually when they want to make sure a character is dead they just destroy the Mobile Suit,so there might still be hope.
That's what I'm kinda thinking too, but I doubt the unit that stores her is in the best shape, so for whatever the final fight is she might need to be transplanted into the Calibarn

Yeah but the aeriel processing was in good condition after such hit? And that an emp so that very good for computer system in our world but i dont in gwfm and the power plant is it still functional because à computer can stop processing but a brain so what happens if the processing system of aerial shut down cause of no power supply , is her mind lost or become mere data and human feeling disappear and Just aerial become an impressive ai powered ms but with no sentience.
Aerial's in as good of shape as the Hyaku Shiki after Zeta and even more intact than the Strike Gundam at the end of SEED. The pilots of the latter two survived, so I think it's too early to say if Eri's out yet.
@@rapidemboar4625 yeah the chassis was possible salvaging but his processing system or PowerPlant states are unknow and his eyes is shut down so two théory is a way to boost dramatical effect with a good happening for aerial or Just to imaging death state Just like in transformers series when a cybertronian die. If anybody its Prosperas fault who went full psycho on everyone not just the few guilty that would have been justified but at its core thats Gundam the brutales and injustices the emotions of war how it consumes like a raging wildfire reflected through giant robot anime as a lens. War is Hell it takes no prisoners and casualties and colateral are always present.

Eri... she sacrificed herself to protect her sister, her mom, and everyone else.
I always knew deep down Eri was good and loved Suletta. And she was also manipulated by Prospera I feel.
I think Eri has tunnel vision due to wanting to help her mother achieve her goal and make her happy, as well as becoming a human outside of the data storm again, which also coincides with Prospera's goal.
Eri wasn't manipulated. She just wanted to support and help her mother with her goals.
One question her mind grown up inside the aerial system or is she still a child in mind processing thinking scheme. Because his way of obeying ressemble a child habits.

It just occurred to me that the reason why the gundbits are so close to the Calibarn is because Eri wanted to protect Suletta from any debris hitting her...
When we think things are going to end well, something else happens to change it. In this case a whole Solar Ray System. This is "The Witch from Mercury" quality. And that's why it's so great and heartmoving!
And now the Witch herself will go berserk on a rampage, as she may still have something on her sleeve! How things will end up only God (and the main staff) knows...

Even now, whenever I see this scene I can't help but have my heart broken into thousands of pieces. When I saw this in the anime I was screaming alongside Prospera...
I feel way too horrible for both Prospera and Suletta, for Prospera her entire plan was to bring her daughter back only for her to sacrifice herself so Prospera saw her daughter die twice and Suletta saw her big sister die.
Also, the music was so epic!
She wanted to protect her little sister, no matter the cost.
The next episode's title, "FINAL EPISODE", has to be a red herring.
It just seems like there are too many remaining plot threats left to be resolved in just one episode.

Ok wow this episode got me at 10/10 but when I saw this part I myself is remind me something then I look back to Gundam unicorn blocking the colony laser I was like holy it simulator but different instead of three energy shield like Gundam unicorn series Eri only did one big energy shield to block but the after effects of laser has a cost to it the last and final episode is next everyone let's hope it's an awesome finale

Ok so personally i think the original Eri that was uploaded to the Aerial is still saveable, however the other clones that were in the bits are gone as their is still the torse of the Aerial, though in a bad way, but the Gun-bits are smashed to pieces.
My own interpretation is not that there are different ones but rather that because she is essentially data she can just copy/paste herself over and over in the data storm.

Am I the only one who had the feeling that they defeated prospera too quickly? Like I thought the final boss fight would last more than 2 ep, but the whole conflict ended in less than 1 ep . Unless the next ep has more stuff though for some reason I feel like the last one will be a bittersweet wrap showing the results after the main event, maybe with time skips and stuff.
There have just been a feeling of the second cour being somewhat rushed, like there was a lot of plot that they wanted to do but had to squeeze it into a limited space.
Yeah for how much evil Prosper did she was defeated far to easily for my liking. I also don’t like how the new intro showed a climactic battle between Eri and Suletta and hyped up Laura’s Gundam just for all of it to be handled in the same episode. This episode felt very half baked which sucks because the show has been doing so well up till now and this may be the second to last episode ever.
honestly felt the same, i think around the time of the false flag attack, it felt like the anime slammed down the accelerater and sped up the pace to try and make it into a twelve episode season. i feel like some of the things in this season should have been cooked for a bit longer like quiet zero and Eri's independence. even presedent deiling awakaning from his coma chould have been used to help explain some things. i do hope there is a third season, but it would be longer then 12 episodes
@@loganrobson8624 I have the opposite opinion. Elnora never really was the most evil, but the audience tried very hard to forget the core of the conflict. This was always about the proxy wars that Spacenoids profited off of. I guess it hits too close home to the Western fans, so they mentally block that out and pin the blame on Elnora lol.
I said she did a lot of evil, not she was most evil. Prospera is a very Wicked person, but we know she isn’t pure evil since she does care for her daughters, albeit one more than the other and the reason she is going to such extremes is so that Eri can live a happy life.

who here agrees that there's too much that's been left up in the air to end this? I mean, the first cour was slow.... but this was just going at breakneck speeds, which makes me think some plot rewrites happened on the development side to set things up for another season.
Even before season 1 ended, I could tell season 2 was gonna have some problems. They introduced many plot points that could go beyond a second season, yet we don't know if there's going to be a third one (I think even Bandai/Sunrise weren't sure about going beyond 25 episodes or just leave it there)

Everyone saying that there's going to be another season because there's *WAY* too many plot threads that need to be wrapped up have clearly never seen anything in the UC timeline.
