about your complaints abut Rose's disgiused, another thing that will strike people as odd would how she sits. Female's larger pelvus forces them to close their legs when sitting with male's smller pelvus forcing their legs to sped when sitting. So everyone is going to be question why Rose would be sitting like a girl.
as for the face, the CIA and other spy orginations has found that face shapes are quite easy to hid/not draw attention to with diffrent hair colors and styles.
We also see with a lot of women you Transitions to male(with out facial surgery) are easily able to pass as a men without anyone knowing. A good example would be Vanya/Victor from Netflix's The Umbrella Academy. If you would to look at the actor/character pre and post trans they would look like two completely different peopl, and more sepficly feminine and masculine respectively. Yes vanya/Victor where some make up for the show like all actor(male and female do) by the director of the studio actually makes the make up make the skill/knowledge the characters would with Vanya/Victor having the basic due to not knowing how to apply makeup.
and funnily enough sayoko's face mask actually has been a thing since the 60s. with one of the heads of the department wearing it during a meeting with the president over research spending. Before ripping it off in front of him when the president ask for a reason to keep granting the buget, needless to say the buget was renewed. Note this was stated in declassified documents so the technology advanced enough for this intel to be considered absolet/safe.
I agree this was a tough episode. You’re right on the “why don’t they just blow up the wall” part. Thank you for trying to be more positive on this episode.

@@MyMediaChops thank you this helps explain things a little. However they say they don't use float system kightmares since it will use up to much energy. Also this does help explain where Norland was, why he went to Hokkaido to form the neo Britannia empire, and how this new nation formed. All the previous nobles decided to help Norland rebuild a new empire. Be interesting to hear more about this new domacles built, which is probably powering the wall 24/7 to keep it.
I don't think you need to be positive about everything, but clearly this was the equivalent of some of the school episodes in the previous Code Geass series. A few of those had more of a balance, but others did lean a lot more on fanservice and antics. Not every episode has been like that either way. As for Sakuya's reaction to Ash, people seem to overlook that when she's making the comment about being surprised when noticing Ash being kind to animals, she's saying that as Raspberry, not talking as her normal self.
As much as I want Lelouch to come back. I hope he doesn't since this isn't his story anymore.but i wouldnt mind having a episode dedicated to Lelouch and C.C. but they better show wth is going on with Zero since he is pretty much a peacemaker

There are definitely some issues but let’s see where this goes
Code Geass isn't Code Geass without the fan service period. Unlike Resurrection, the story is slowly being fleshed out and the fan service isn't interfering with a fine story. It is not perfect and has issues but people need to give it a chance. Yes there will be similar character archetypes to the legacy ones. That shouldn't be an issue if the story makes sense and is original
My question is why isn't lelouch doing anything when he's still alive
You could argue he already did something by giving Geass to Sakuya but Lelouch isn't the same person anymore after his return.

I think that holding code geass to its own standards shouldnt so controversial! Ive seen people go welllll code geass was always horny and overdramatic and fast paced and its such a gloss over dismissal of how solid of a base is made in the first 3 eps of cg vs roze (its even where i personally got my 3 episode rule)?? Like ?? Pretending cg never had good writing isnt it???the original introduction eps had a focus to it and lightly introduced what the fanservice was gonna look like over time (a midrif/short skirts i guess -> episode 3 oh ok a shower scene with the important development) which werent replacements for the girls being good characters with roles!
I was waiting for this series and will be keeping up til the end because i love cg and if anything i got reminded that new people might be tuning into thisand think that this is the best cg can offer and :(
...im also not immune to lelouch propoganda and will be genuinely happy if the show finds it feet and ushers in all the cg they promised us

The thing is, there is a gap between taking the original show by its own standards, and applying those to what is still a separate show with its own format even if it is related.
I gotta say this is sounding more and more like a mess the further we dive into and that's not even including the huge copious amounts of fan service. I know the series is rather infamous for its big amount of fan service but in this show's case, it's even more abundant I mean I've seen so many boob physics in this show then I have with dead or alive and that's saying something. At least they let the leader of the main group actually let some people in on her secret in comparison to Lelouch but damn is it literally Code Geass is horny and boobs boobs and more boobs lol. Maybe it'll get better but I am not so sure.
Some of that "mess" is entirely in the eyes of the beholder. Not an universal reaction.
But what is Kaguya’s relationship to Sakuya? Is Kaguya the daughter, sister or newphew of Sakuya’s father, Jugo Sumeragi?
I 100% agree with you and what people might say is 'complaining' about this new series. Being someone myself who watched the original series I don't know how many times now and the movierse and akito series you want this new content being pushed to feel like the Code Geass universe. Follow in it steps of world building, story telling, and action scenes made the original what it is.
I am glad for this new content and honestly episode 3 I am a little happier about for it has given us a little more world building of the what is going on. But yes would love to know the previous black knight attempts. How will this new be different. Also yes tactics really are not zero caliber as we have gotten. I hope they get better.
As well I feel Norland has a runaway geass. He is always hiding both of his eyes and would explain a lot of why people will off themselves. I feel he did the emperor to empress swap as a backup plan for maybe he was trying to use the new emperor but wasn't working out in his favour. I feel if their is an empress Norland could technically marry and become emperor of neo Britannia. Might be where it is going.
Also glad to see L.L. giving out geass. I just wonder since he is a failed one he may only be able to give geass power similar to his. Since rose is the same instead of requiring eye contact it requires hearing. Maybe failed ones can give contracts. But they are variations of their original geass like L.L.
