Great videos!! I'd love to see a video about the Bureau of Land Management and what the best way of getting a LEO Ranger pos their would entail. Probably similar to the Forest Service I would assume.
Sir, I’m a police officer of seven years locally and have started the process for the DEA. I’m doing my physical next week. I’m not sure if this page is still monitored, but I have a few questions about the process. Additionally, I have to write my final paper for my degree and I’m writing it over the DEA. I’d love to ask you a few questions about the organization since you’re a retired agent.
Interesting that the DEA changed their sit up protocol since they already modified it earlier this year. I have my refresher coming up next month. I appreciate your video regarding the structured interview, it really helped me prepare me.
Is it true that college grads will be able to apply for jobs are you DEA? Have you ever had an interview college grads who want to apply for the job of DEA?
Good to know. I passed my written tests but somehow "failed" the structured interview.Regarding the PRT, I didn't know that they switched out the sit-up protocols, when I last tested we used the old protocol of hands on the head., did they keep the same benchmarks for scores too? Overall an excellent and informative video.
@@Marc05761 yes. Just use the test materials they provide and follow the guidelines they tell you. Make sure that you're well rested the day of the exam, get a good night's sleep the night before. As for the panel interview just speak clearly and effectively and communicate well. I passed my written tests and structured panel interview this time. Hope this helps.
@@ragingjaguarknight86@Marc05761 I know this was a year ago but I’m in the military at the moment and plan to join the DEA is there anyway I could make contact with you guys to possibly get some more insight on how to join?
Do you recommend recruits who wish to federal take the route as an army officer first?. I have my degree and I also have two years of security experience.
I love watching your videos, I am a Junior in high school and very interested in Law Enforcement and going into the FBI or DEA. What do you suggest, me as a junior to start doing and preparing for college and the work force.
Do really well in school and good in college. Try to do volunteer work especially volunteer fire and ems if they offer that near you. I have college and 6 years of law enforcement experience and I’m in the process now. Law enforcement experience and college is the best thing you can offer federal agencies. Hope this helps
What’s the tattoo policy for the federal government in general….also for instance the boarder patrol if you were in the process of getting hired and you got a tattoo would that disqualify you?
I do not know of any broad policy. Each agency sets their own policy. In general, I can say that face, neck and hand tattoos will probably not be acceptable in any agency.
No. They reinstated the max age limit of 60 last month. I think they are really looking to hire their own retired who are in their late 40s early 50s. 60+ is a bridge too far.
I like your content, but i think having a goal of 2 miles in 12 minutes is unrealistic for the average person. That is a pace of one mile per six minutes. Very difficult to attain.
Just subscribed and so far a lot of your videos have answered a lot of questions, so thank you for that sir. Do you have an email that I can contact you and you can answer a couple of more questions that I may have?

Thank you so much for this insight I intended on contacting my district recruiter on Monday to begin the application process.
Did you end up getting in? Hope all is well!
Good luck with the magistrates , hope you still have time to keep the videos flowing.
I hope so too
Good day! Glad you are good, good luck with your employment!

I have yet to see a posting when was the last posting for an agent?
@@oempluse822 The DEA’s last Job Opening Announcement was from December 2019 to early March 2021.
Any information on bureau of industrial security (BIS)?
How old were you when you went through the DEA academy? What would you say is the common age for someone just starting in the DEA?
25 yoa. I am 62 now. The average age of basic agents is 29.
Lol the way you said “looks like he just crawled out of a garbage can” has be cracking up 🤣
Do you know or have anything I can read about becoming a police officer for the FBI?
Sir, are beards allowed for special agents ???

I’m taking mine soon. Any tips please ?

@@ragingjaguarknight86 thanks a lot. They haven’t giving me any study guide honestly. Just the dates and times (next week).

For dea do you need to have a bachelors or can you have an associates? Along with experience such as police or emt ?
Bachelors

The biggest problem I see is the running and pull ups.
I think they canned the pull ups. There are two runs...a 300 yd sprint and a 1.5 mi run.
