Just a heads up on those fasteners you bought. From the looks of it they look to have "black oxide" treatment. They will rust in 10 minutes if you ever get moisture on them, and they are often sold in 12.9 hardness. I would recommend you substitute them for some socket head cap screws with galvanic coating (ISO 4762/DIN 912)
im about to put these on my bigport . but im on a short budget . very short . a friend of mine gave me a super AFC apexi . can the afc drive the itb's ? im not asking for power .. i just want it to drive smooth with proper AFR idle about 15.0 afr and wot around 13.0 i have a 1.5 liter vacuum block and all adaptor vacuums gathered in 1 with a check valve . care to share your knowledge on afc setup? thanks !
Im not familiar with AFC set up. From my experience to run ITBS, you need at least a map sensor and ECU that can run off the MAP sensor. I have a link g4 ECU, and fuel is adjusted with throttle position sensor, and MAP sensor. I also have air intake temp sensor for my ITBS. That part is optional, but its another way for the ECU to determine how much fuel to put in the motor. I had a tuner set up my Link G4.
No. I didn’t film it. This motor is my spare. The waterlines are in my ae86. I’ll swap em over when the time comes. I did remove my heater core and heater lines, so the set up isn’t stock.
