Hitchhiking in Bangladesh - Truck & Bike taxi Day 3

- This was supposed to be the last day of my Solo backpacking trip to Bangladesh. I left from Mr Harlal's house, who came to my rescue last evening when I was stranded in a place, where I did not want to be. (watch my earlier video)
Mr Harlal arranged a lift in a truck. From there I went to Gopalganj. Travelled in a crowded bus. Crossed a river on a boat. Was getting late for the border, so hired a bike to Jessore and then, at last, a bus to the Benapole border.... But the bus from Jessore to Benapole border took too long and thereafter.... (watch the next video ;) )
This way I got a chance to travel on a commercial bike in Bangladesh

I would definitely recommend all of you to visit Bangladesh. If you are bothered by the negative news coverages, then believe me it is not the real picture of this beautiful country. I met some of the wonderful people during this trip and I am sure you will also be fond of their hospitality, culture and respect towards nature.

Your travelling plan was wrong brother. That is why you have faced problem during your tour... From chandpur it is a opposite way to jessore... And there is no proper transport for jessore. You should get back to dhaka for jessore or should go for Brahmanbaria Agartala to enter India... You can also go to Chittagong from Chandpur to get 1st Class or Business Class busses for Jessore Benapol border (Your Haridaspur).. You total trip planning was wrong...

Benapole comes under Jessore district.
He was driving upto Jessore town. Actually, you crossed my hometown Bongaon.
Benapole is at Bangladesh and Petrapole is at Bongaon in India.

If you get off in chandpur from steamer, you might be saw your life time experience river view, it’s like ocean 🌊 but it’s a Meghna river. And world most flavorful fish hilsha fish.
When we travel always catch the nearest city. But you landed no where from boat. 🙁
Anyway as a Bangladeshi sorry for your bad experiences.

You should have visited Chittagong where world's third longest beach, Cox Bazaar Beach, is located. Chittagong hilly region is very amazing with its higher mountain and valleys.Beutiful Sanmartin Island is also in Cox Bazaar district of Chittagong from which you can see Myanmar.

Unfertile due to India made dam Sikkim farrakha in summer time india block water using different state rainy season open dam create flood Bangladesh , UN has a rule that its totally against build a dam in international rivers crossing border and falls the sea , India just continue with that

this is the only route from agartala via dhaka benapole border to kolkata i had travelled several times..
Sorry for the Problems you had to face in my country Bangladesh. You should have planned the plan more technically. Without any local person's help, it seems a bit tuff. Anyways, hope you will visit again.

Bangladeshi people don't go to visit to chadpur, but you should to go coxbazar, Chittagong hilltrack, sylhet , rangpur

Ur Itinerary was wrong for a country like Bangladesh, thankfully nothing serious didnt happen in chadpur, this is a country of "no law", even for the citizens like us.U could've visited many tourist spots within the Dhaka Division without any hassle.There are also many safe and easy transports for Jessore. U didnt visit some of the most attractive tourist spots in BD.
