Had lost sight of going for skoolie life but it just jumped back in my mind today & found you on a search! Love the bus build & you all have the best vibes! Anyone who sets spiders back out like I do is the high vibes I need 😊👍 💓
Thanks Lainee :) Good vibes all around! Keep spreading them. Good luck planning skoolie life. Let us know if you have any questions! You can message me on IG if you do.
"Just stick a magnet on that!" I love her! I am now on board with magnet friendly for my build. 🎉 reminds me of Seinfeld when Kramer says he's "building levels in his apartment." 😂
Saw your old videos from years ago when you were staying in the Philippine Islands. You stopped making videos in the Philippines so I assumed you abandoned YT. I've never seen you since until now. I'm searching for a reliable camper builder in SoCal. That's a well designed skoolie you have - CONGRATULATIONS!
Good to see you doing well and still seeking out adventure! Your kitchen cabinets and closet needs magnetic locking systems tho, make it complete 😜😜 Great van and looking forward to seeing the adventures in it!
We initially had plans for a full shower and bathroom setup but after further consideration and budget (it would have cost nearly $10k for all the supplies and labor) and it would have completely changed the layout and needed a much bigger water storage. Lots of things to consider which I didn't explain here. Like how we wanted a shower behind the driver seat but the fuel line runs above the floor so we couldn't put it there without moving that fuel line which would be a lot of work. If we put the shower in the back we would have had to change our bed layout and it would affect the enire floorplan and make everything way more crammed. I'm really glad we didn't put an indoor shower. We can use our sink faucet as an outdoor shower, but we go to planet fitness for showers often which is nice because it also encourages us to workout. No regrets not adding a shower. We do have a compost toilet.
Hey! There is the stock insulation that comes with the bus, but it's minimal. We do have a diesel heater to help keep things warm in cold climates. We also use an electric heated blanket which helps a lot when it's cold.
@@SteveYalothanks for sharing your experience. Absolutely love the style and aesthetics. And I subscribed. In the words of the great and wise and powerful Chancellor Palpatine "We will watch your career with great interest."
I saw about a minute of the video on my fiancé's TV, which doesn't show the lower half of UA-cam pages, just the video part. So I went on my laptop and sort of fast-forwarded through it to look for one thing. Since this was a tour, and not a "build" video, there was no discussion about painting the outside. Did you get your bus this color, or did you paint it yourselves? We've seen several green skoolies on videos, close to what I think is the color he wants (and which I could bear to live in.) I'd like to know what color paint was used to paint the outside, the brand and color name, if you have it. Thanks! Also, the whole "stick a magnet on it" idea won't work in our bus, because the metal must be aluminum - magnets don't stick! 😢
I’ve watched a bajillion conversion tour videos by now and y’all have the best energy and personalities 😍

Love this. Big Fan from Sri Lanka. I just watched Sri Lanka Series. I found that you were on my home area😄. Good Luck
Oh wow that’s awesome. Where is your home area?
Nice but no bathroom and shower. That's a big no for me. I would pass on the kitchen because I cooked outdoors. But nice home ❤
same about bathroom & shower! It's big enough they could have easily fit one in!

Hello! Great build! I have a question, with keeping the original ceiling and walls, do you have any insulation? Can you travel in cold climates?

@@SteveYalo thank you!
So happy for you too! How about Eartha? lol I thought of Eartha Kitt the actress who played cat woman and also Eartha because she is green.
