Today we are deep in the heart of Boyle Heights, California! In the Varrio “Evergreen 13” This Hood is located in (East Los Angeles, CA/Boyle Heights) this hood is east of Downtown LA!
This is one of the oldest gang in this neighborhood sat back all the way to the 1930s and the 1940s! This ain’t no joke, though lots of people die here every year! So be careful when you’re out here visiting this area! Be very respectful, and always look behind you because you never know!

I grew up near the 4th st bridge and lorena. We were involved in Evergreen park playing sports back in the 80s. We used to run around the cemetary before they fixed it up.
I used to work for OnTrac, a delivery driver. I used to cover a lot of areas in Boyle Heights like exactly where you went through, I’ve covered all that and much more, even in steep up hill, downhill, by train tracks, they’re all super fkn active! Respect to all though, I’m just a regular guy. I’m just glad they all show some love cause I would deliver their packages with care 😂😂.
My respect to you for going through it on a bike ride. I was just there doing my job lol.
Also RIP to the big homie El Puppet from EGx3. He was my neighbor in Long Beach, a real cool vato, treated like family. 😢🙏🏼.
Same here had the Boyle heights route n east la. Been in all those apartments. Homies are all cool as long as you show respect n don’t be nosey your good. The best food spots a lot of culture shout out Boyle heights east la
@@gcage7508 That’s firme bro, I’ve did all that too. Those apartments no joke, and a lot of dead ends street there as well lol. It ain’t for the weak either, got couple guys I know that did that area quit within a few days lol. Even if the areas are hoods / active, I always stay in my lane, with respect and good few words to show some love, and I get that right back, never a better feeling than that. Covered a lot of places in the OC’s, IE’s, my hometown Long Beach, nothing like BH / East LA and that’s all with respect 🫡. Every areas has its own perks, beautiful in all aspects. You’re not lying about the foods spot out there, love the variety cultures out there, i would try different spots everyday, lol. One love / respect to all.

Ain’t nothing like BH / East LA and some areas in other parts of LA! I agree, despite its being hoods / active, it all has its perks and beautiful in its own unique ways with history, I always stay in my own lane, show respect / love with good few words and I get that back from cool gente, no better feeling than that. You’re not lying about the best food spots out there, 🔥. Those apartments ain’t no joke either, had some guy who covered that route quit within few days, I did it half a year till I was moved to another routes. Good times.

This was all my old stomping grounds when I was a kid. Grew up on fourth Street between Fresno and Dakota Street. Play a lot of sports at that park good memories. The Evergreen gang had to chapters that I could remember. They were called the Chicos and the Dukes I guess now from what I am reading on the comments it is just called Evergreen 13 now. I was a member of the Chicos for a bit. Had some good memories from those days playing at the park. That was back around 1970 to 1980
You should do Norwalk a lot if active varrios out that way!!
There’s also a evergreen street gang in Orange County in the City of Santa Ana, I don’t think they have any ties to this gang tho it’s a small area but definitely active u should come out here and do a video cruising threw there

I lived about almost a decade around those hoods borderlands of each hood I can tell you this is were the real barrios are at plabra.
I'm from long beach but I was in Boyle heights coming down from a view and i forgot who's hood I was in, but they were doing some movie so I wanted to take a shortcut through an alley thinking it will lead me to the other side of the street I ended up going inside a dead end alley and as soon I as I realized I put my car jn reverse and 5 foos popped up and ask if i was good ...i told them i thought i was alley to get through i didn't know it was a dead end...they just looked at eachother and let me go but they had there eyes on me whole time ...as I was reverse two more heads popped over the fence and were watching me as well...I left like man I gotta be more careful lmfao..and this night time as well 😅

Evergreen is not that old they came out in the 70s. They used to be a football team. Their territory used to be Primera flats and borderline with white fence back in the days

My varrio Evergreen goes back to the early 1940's, there's several news articles online that are archives from 1943 Zoot Suit riots and they mention Evergreen gang Stabbing a white sailor on 1st and Evergreen and a couple of other incidents where they were mentioned.
