I've got an SAv2 15 in my truck, the Xv3 15 is my dream sub... the ZV6 is a monster, i think my truck would fall apart lol. Can't wait to hear your review and comparison. Good times!
I own a pair of Zv5 12s and I absolutely love them! The way it hits the lows is amazing and I love how versatile they can be as apparently they perform amazingly well (SQ wise) in a 4th and I’ve been thinking of switching to that setup.
Just bought a Zv6, currently biggest sub is a T2-13” 2k. They both weight about the same. The Rockford sounds more musical but I’ll have to wait and test the Zv6 in its new box. I prefer a smaller box since I’m trying to fill the musical gap. Not looking for Spl just louder base.

@@soundqubedkiller5885 No, I had the X’s on a an old 3k svc sundown amp. The zv6’s are on a taramps bass 5k in a lower tuned (28hz) enclosure. The zv6’s can actually take more power.

They actually play pretty well on mid bass but I have my box and my whole car tuned to be very musical. Most people don't so some people have different experiences
currently running a single 15 xv3 on a jp23v2. subaru imprezza hatch, 4 CU box, 32hz, catches everyones attention. the lows are super clear and im very satisfied with the overall quality and sound. however, im doing more bass demos so i might move to 2 zv6 on an 8k if I can find a good alternator and enough lithium
Well, first. ZV6 over xv3 all day. 2nd, ZV6 has a higher sensitivity rating so it'll take less power to be just as loud as the xmaxx. Even though the Xmaxx is rated 500 more watts, the ZV6 has a bigger coil so it should handle more power than the xmxx regardless of rating. ZV6 has more xmaxx so it should play lower. Only thing the xmaxx has on the ZV6 is that its 30 pounds lighter.
Honestly the xv3 is your better sub as you know you can beat that thing down. I purchased a zv6 and the lows were good for a while but not consistent after the break in. I felt like I lost vs my x it seemed to get better and I ran it with a Salt 6 at about 3600 watts they both did great but in my opinion the x continued to kill and I wasn't okay with moving around 200lbs each time I need to check something in the back 😂😂

@@chandlercameron9977 are you familiar with the nightshade version 6? NSv6? They added an entire heat sink as well as some new internal pieces to channel the heat away as much as possible. This wasn't done for no reason. The Saint platform motor ( nightshade v4, v5, and v6) is definitely a power n52 neodymium driven motor without question but I do believe heat has been an issue in every version. Even in the down for sound build, which uses the only 4-inch coil saint platform motor I know of, they added fins to the motor to help dissipate the heat. I love the weight savings with that particular platform. I do not love the heat issue. I'll still work Z series for now.
