I tried to loosen mine up… blasted it with a torch… big pipe wrench… nothing… reconnected the wires… Drove 2 miles and the light went off… 2nd time it’s come on with same code…
Yeah, they could be stuck on there real good. Even after heating it up and using the breaker bar, I didn't think it would come off. Sometimes when using those split sockets, the force causes it to open up which you can kind of see happening in this vid, and then it slips off. I got lucky and it broke free. You may want to try giving it another go right after driving when the exhaust is nice and hot. Sometimes it just takes a couple of tries
