@@NewStuffTV1 wow that was a fast response! Thank you, because in your video and other videos I've seen of the PX3-Pro it seems very washed out in ambient light compared to the V5000i including your previous vid.
This is best of the best the picture quality is outstanding , I bought one on sale for $2900 , and man is worth the price Just loving it no more freaking TV for me in the living room
I love that projector stand, having that cutout for the light to come out of and give a flat surface with the projector to live underneath, with a bit of airflow for cooling but also in a cubby to maybe block some fan noise from the side is the bomb
I love it! I just tore down my existing stand and rebuilt it to fit a UST. When I'm not using a UST, I use it as a TV stand by laying two 2x8 boards across the top.
Please help: There are a redish stripes flowing from the bottom to the top of the screen in the showed content. Ist this a rainbow effect? Or ist it just because of the filming of the screen via camera?
It accepts a signal at that refresh rate but will only ever display 60HZ. This is a limitation of the chip - all the other USTs that compete with this have the same issue. Some manufacturers are being really disengenious with their marketing (*ahem*...HiSense) making the claim look like it DISPLAYS those refresh rates.
I´m waiting for mine here in the Netherlands 😁 What about the fan noise?? I had a Formovie Theater and that suck** had 5 fans in total inside so i hope this one is less audible...
You'll definitely hear some fan noise. It's really mild most of the time. However, there will be some times when the fans ramp up, and you'll hear them. It hasn't impacted my experience though.
@@NewStuffTV1 thx, do the fans only ramp up with HDR content then with normal content? You had the Formovie Theater +- a year ago, could you compare the fan noise of thoose 2? In the Projectore store i could not hear the px3 pro, but they have more background noise then a typical living room. I´m getting one with a glass color filter on it for better colors and contrast. don´t wonna spend so much money on the projector and get a fan screamer 😖😖😖 Keep up the good work ✌ Greeeetz from the Netherlands
This is the absolute best one I've ever seen with my two eyes. I have some TVs I need to do videos on, and it's hurting me to take the screen down because I like this thing SO MUCH.
Great review. With so many companies producing ultra short throw projectors, they have me in a holding pattern. The Leica Cine 1 for example, immediately caught my eye because of it's beauty, but the $9,500.00 price tag put it out of my financial reach. Now, this Hisense just might be something that I need to take a serious look at. That said, Antoine, why didn't you choose a screen size 120, or 150?
This thing really IS awesome. As far as why I didn't go with a bigger screen... I sort of explain it in this video ua-cam.com/video/PFK_XrYQpOM/v-deo.htmlsi=0dxhQ18fHTHBRs0A The bigger the screen, the higher up you'll have to mount it or the lower you will need to place the UST. When doing a UST setup, your ceiling height and cabinet is a MAJOR part of the equation. I don't want a low cabinet and while my wall space will easily accommodate a 120" drop down screen, it will not accommodate a 120" UST screen.
@@NewStuffTV1 Your wall would accommodate both screens, unless it is a wall stud issue, as they would be using the same physical space. I have been doing this for decades. The drop down screen actually takes up more space at the top of for the housing assembly on the wall vs the mounted screen which does not have this space variance ( about 4 inches on average ). The drawback to going to the top is reflection from the screen to ceiling, making both the same size to avoid this. Yes, the cabinet and the height of the UST from the floor are major factors, as you explained.
About the 10:30 mark of this video ua-cam.com/video/PFK_XrYQpOM/v-deo.htmlsi=NHrJAhD_p-qsa7oJ is where I explained why I don't want a 120' fixed screen. I do not WANT (not can't have) low furniture, and I really don't think most people don't when they have small children and pets. This is an issue a lot of people don't take into account when purchasing this type of gear. Dedicated UST cabinets are crazy expensive and very modern looking, which doesn't work in every home. Finding a decent looking table or cabinet that is lower than 22" is damn near impossible. Another gripe I have is if you have a center speaker or soundbar... where does it go? 🤯 The only company to address this is AWOL by using the UST as the center channel with thier proprietary sound system.
It's a normal 75" tv stand i purchased from Amazon. I took the top and back off of it and remade it out of real wood, also cutting a rectangular hole in it to accommodate UST projectors. Basically, you can't purchase it because it's one of a kind. However, you could do the same thing with a lot of TV stands.

Which one do you think is better, this projector or the BenQ V5000i? With ambient light.
@narflexel easily the PX3-PRO.

@narflexel it's all really just video angles and lighting. None of these projectors look even half as good on camera as they do in real life.
@@NewStuffTV1 thank you again! You should make a "vs"/comparing video on these and other projectors in the future. You make great informative videos.

How is the contrast of the Px3 compared to the Valerion visionmaster?
Do you have video of sports 🤔 with this and Cable TV channels 🤔 + what is upscaling of low quality content looking like ?
How does it compare to the AWOL 3500 Pro ?
Just found your channel, great review and tv/projector stand! Imma have to steal that concept 😁

Do you know if the hdmi 2.1 on this projector is a true 120hz? I believe it reads as 120hz on their other projectors but is only 60hz.
Sorry, but i don't know how to "officially" verify this.

Price and Lamp life bulb replacement?
There is no "lamp" as it is a laser light source rated at 25k hours.
