By that I mean, get couples counseling, get individual therapy and work through unresolved issues, save money for the baby and a wedding, plan how family leave will happen, etc. But if you have kids together and you’ve been together for years, why not marriage? No legal protection for the children or the partner in those situations?

He definitely should be helping her at the store if he can, but he also is a foreigner and doesn't know the local language. No joke all you really NEED Is diapers, wipes, limited amount of clothes, one good binky, that's all I had when I had my daughter. No stroller or car seat no crib. I did get gifted a bassinet. I had been homeless right before my daughter was born, I was staying with my mother and she didn't have an income to help. All she could offer was a roof over our heads. But that's all we needed. I only breastfed for a month due to stress, and I had to panhandle for formula but the kindness of strangers really helped me and my daughter survive. I realized that you don't need all that extra stuff, it's nice to have but not needed overall.

I knew they had problems and was hoping they can work them out, but as you watch them more and more you start to realize they are not a good match together. They are trauma bonded, which is one of the worst types of relationships a couple could potentially have. They really should be focusing on healing from whatever they are experiencing individually rather than seeking a relationship. But with a baby on the way, it makes the situation more difficult to wish them apart. No child should grow up without a father/mother. But at the same time, this couple is toxic so you don’t know what kinds of chaotic behavior they will introduce into this child’s life. So sad.
Don’t forget, they have to pay any financial charges with the money they owe. People forget about the interest, late fees and any over limit fees make banks a ton of money and they can devastate your budget. They should have sought better advice before doing all of that. That’s nuts.

To be fair, not insurance pays for part or all of the breast pump, and most of those items have a cheaper but still quality alternative or they can be purchased second hand in some cases. For example, I got a perfect little graco swing + bouncer + baby bathtub + and a couple other items, all brand new looking, for a total of $75. Not everything can be gotten cheaper or second hand, and there are very expensive parts of being a parent. But it also doesn’t have to be as expensive as mommy influencers make it seem.
I see so many mommy influencers buy all these gadgets and then they said that they never needed them! Also your baby doesn’t need Nuna, Cybex and Stokke brand items to survive 😂

He definitely should be helping her at the store if he can, but he also is a foreigner and doesn't know the local language. Unless she wants to label everything in English in the short term, or hands him a translation dictionary, he isn't going to be having the easiest time trying to deal with people. No joke all you really NEED Is diapers, wipes, limited amount of clothes, one good binky, that's all I had when I had my daughter. No stroller or car seat no crib. I did get gifted a bassinet. I had been homeless right before my daughter was born, I was staying with my mother and she didn't have an income to help. All she could offer was a roof over our heads. But that's all we needed. I only breastfed for a month due to stress, and I had to panhandle for formula but the kindness of strangers really helped me and my daughter survive. I realized that you don't need all that extra stuff, it's nice to have but not needed overall.

I knew they had problems and was hoping they can work them out, but as you watch them more and more you start to realize they are not a good match together. They are trauma bonded, which is one of the worst types of relationships a couple could potentially have. They really should be focusing on healing from whatever they are experiencing individually rather than seeking a relationship. But with a baby on the way, it makes the situation more difficult to wish them apart. No child should grow up without a father/mother. But at the same time, this couple is toxic so you don’t know what kinds of chaotic behavior they will introduce into this child’s life. So sad.
Don’t forget, they have to pay any financial charges with the money they owe. People forget about the interest, late fees and any over limit fees make banks a ton of money and they can devastate your budget. They should have sought better advice before doing all of that. That’s nuts.

My aunt used to have a little shop like that and the only reason she had it was to keep herself busy after retirement. It was NOT a money maker. This is the better option for people living in countries with limited job opportunities
To be fair, not insurance pays for part or all of the breast pump, and most of those items have a cheaper but still quality alternative or they can be purchased second hand in some cases.
For example, I got a perfect little graco swing + bouncer + baby bathtub + and a couple other items, all brand new looking, for a total of $75.
Not everything can be gotten cheaper or second hand, and there are very expensive parts of being a parent. But it also doesn’t have to be as expensive as mommy influencers make it seem.
I see so many mommy influencers buy all these gadgets and then they said that they never needed them! Also your baby doesn’t need Nuna, Cybex and Stokke brand items to survive 😂
