RC4WD Trail Finder 2 LWB chassis (quick build overview)

This video is a quick build overview on the RC4WD TF2 long wheel base chassis kit. I go over some tips and issues I run into. This chassis will be the base for a RC4WD Blazer to pickup conversion in future videos.

I started out with the main leaf only and after a few hours of use the truck was leaning towards the right. I swapped the left and right springs and added the 2 smaller springs. This has the suspension perfect. If you get the R4 you need the V8 engine mounts to put everything in the right place. Not sure if that will work for the GCM.

Nice video and build....I'm surprised the that the axles didn't have shims to compensate for the driveshaft angle like on full size trucks...looking forward to the rest of your series.

I feel about the stamped steel bead locks I did mine on the scx 24. Try 15 hours on one wheel I had to put it down and come back lol!
