Just wanted to say that this was very well done and look forward to watching this project progress. You put a lot of thought into every aspect of this and it shows.
As you know, kilmat adds weight, and what thickness did you buy im planning to use havelock wool , i have owned this van for almost a year, but the previous owner hit a deer it took out radiator, grill serpentine belts power steering pump, ac condenser driver side fender front bumper, i have already replaced most parts i spoke about except front bumper i going to buy a expedition one front aluminum front and rear bumper my van white also i may go with a black and white theme or a matte black wrap not sure , i got rear-end by semi truck in Minnesota even tho i drive a semi so im hoping to get a nice settlement to help out in this build as i stated on waffle square comments time im very busy working traveling between 1 to 3 years more then i done trucking and start living and complete my many projects van build one of the projects i selling my home and buying 5 acres or less to build a high height tiny home as a home base living in city limits means hoa i own nine vehicles plus motorcycle i can only make so much noise i do rent a 30 x 45 x16 storage for some of my vehicles i can work on here but 60 miles from home i like all my vehicles where i live i plan to sell half the ones that sit mostly i keep up on your build to see your end results that probably never end always upgrades 😊
Great video - just got the exact same van yesterday and I am watching all your work. How much Kilmat did you use/order? Your summary said "35 lbs" and at 0.68 lbs per square foot, is that 50 square feet (two of the boxes you linked at 25 sq ft each)?

Yes!!
I may have missed what kind of floor was used in the van build?
The subfloor is foam board insulation, aluminum cross-bracing, and plywood on top. The actual flooring is not installed yet.
No knocking test. Tapping doesn’t count.
What are you referring to?
