Y'all. If you can, set aside time for the WWII museum. It is truly top tier. Make a reservation for weekday lunch at Commander's Palace - they have 25cent martinis. Go to Hansen's and get a snowball. Visit Kern's and take the tour to see how they build the iconic Mardi Gras floats.
@@katielawson4407 We debated on going to the museum, but I think our schedule was already packed that day! And we wanted to do Hansen's too but I think it was just so out of the way from anything else we wanted to do 😭 For sure one of my biggest regrets is not doing Commander's Palace. Maybe next time!
I watched your video from start to finish! Going to New Orleans in October for the Eras Tour and I’m putting together an itinerary for me and my husband. Your video was of great help! Thanks for the effort and time you put into this 😊
Great video! One place to consider next trip is The Cabildo. It’s a walk through museum full of New Orleans history right in Jackson Square! I hope you enjoyed my favorite city! I don’t live in Nola but it lives in me! 🎉
You missed Frenchman street just outside of the Quarter with its live music clubs and betterand cheaper drinks. Also in Armstong Park is Congo Square where the enslaved were able to congregate on Sundays without their overseers. Also many of the clubs don't even get rocking till after 10 or even 12
Not bad for your first time in NOLA!! It is impossible to explore all that New Orleans offers. I sure hope you'll make repeat visits. Definitely check out Frenchman Street, The Maple Leaf near Uptown (hopefully when Rebirth Brass Band is in town!) and The RocknBowl.. I will soon be making my 6th (or 7th... I lost count ) visit over the course of almost 40 years. The highlight of every single trip has been some incredibly spontaneous and epic experience almost always recommended by a local. While I always think it best to stay in the French Quarter for everyone's first NOLA experience, I highly encourage expanding beyond FQ for repeat stays. BTW... hats off to you and all the different libations you tried! At my age, I couldn't do it now. Gonna stick to my Mint Juleps and possibly a Pimms Cup or 2 :)
Thank you for the huge video. Yes, that was a lot of work! It gives a good impression of what you can do in NOLA, I think (I've never been there, that's why I'm watching this video, haha) I was shocked that the tour guide fed the animals, and with very unhealthy things. I don't think that's okay. Thank you again for the video and best regards from Switzerland.🇨🇭🌅
@@TheDragonHealer Whatever parade you pick, get there early! They get crowded quickly, especially if you want to be on a balcony bar. And don't be afraid to reach out for beads during the parade itself! Hope it goes well!

Your videos are really awesome and very good quality very nice I really enjoy watching your videos. But there is a little problem with your video, you should do SEO, if you do SEO, your video views and engagement will increase, likes, comments, and subscriptions will increase gradually. If you have less idea about this, you can tell me and I will help you.
I liked your video but you blew it on the places to eat. I can tell you didn’t do your research beforehand. I don’t think you are a foodie or you would have sought out better places. That is a total waste because NOLA is a foodie city. Done right, you wouldn’t have been saying things like “ it was just alright”. On a positive note you did pretty good with the drinks. Go back to Nola and do it right this time!!!
Thank you for your input! We did do a fair bit of research, but we focused more on the "tourist-y" side of foods, as those are the bigger names in the space; but I do agree it's a shame we didn't focus more on the local hotspots. I appreciate your comment, though! Have a wonderful rest of your day ☺️
This video is amazing, and the work put into it is evident. Hands down the most informative, engaging and inspiring tour trip of New Orleans!
