It’s an ok interpretation of Vogue. But dancers didn’t vogue at all. I was expecting more attitude. This Madonna’s song is about that: attitude, fashion, beauty and striking a Pose.!! this is why this song is memorable.
I really loved the narrative as it helped explained what I was watching, so we need more of that! I enjoyed it up until the point of the “ringmaster “ clenching his flat butt cheeks, I mean come on that was repulsive 🤢
Broadway Bares is always the exact same scenario year after year, lots of semi-nude male dancers, and a central male character who inevitably ends up being stripped nude by the other dancers. Yes, originality and uniqueness are dead in American theatre.
Choreography is very poor and should be more stronger than this, the song make the stones and walls dancing, you perished the spirit and bares should be more active and professional than this, being sticky to ballet was a bad idea
Promoting smut is getting old, let's get back to musicals that make you feel great when you leave the theater, this crap makes you want to slap someone, I'm gay and I miss Broadway shows with real talent and great voices
