I remember getting the Lord Felgrand structure deck when I was in Junior High school. Me and this one specific friend were the only two playing Yugioh at the time, he would usually beat me, but after a while I started searching for new cards and I saw that the structure deck was out so I got three of it. I stayed up late that night fine tuning which cards I'd play 3 ofs 2 ofs and 1 ofs then when we dueled again the mext day after school I beat him 3 times in a row which was a big shock to me. Definitely one of my favorite Yugioh memories ever.
MY FAVORITE CARD GROWING UP!!! Oh the joy I had playing felgrand/blue-eyes growing up. Very bricky but I loved it when I got my combos off 😂

To be fair the Felgrand related cards are my favourite in all of Yu-Gi-Oh! except Skeletal Dragon Lord Felgrand, that thing can rot in hell for all I care
I actually love skeletal dragon felgrand, it's a pretty good boss for zombies.
I came back to the game in 2016 with Felgrand and Blue-Eyes structures, sadly Dragon were losing cards every Ban List

Good cards for that Deck are Odd-eyes Advance Dragon, Diabolos Lord of the Lair and Dark Hole Dragon, because the 3 are searchable and have synergy
Fucking love felgrand it was one if my frist two structure deck when i got back to Yu-Gi-Oh back in high school, that and Arkbrave aren't OPT and they both loop each other, play this with Ruin to have a sudo Skill Drain
Ruins Control is always very fun, I always say that while some people Normal Aleister, we Summon Paladin, we are not the same type of people.
NOO FREAKING WAYY!! Ive BEEN using Rokket Engine to bring the felgrands back. It's so wild to see DAD doing the same. I dont use bystials tho.
Felgrand is one of my favorites of all time!
I would be interested to see you mix felgrand with red eyes and blue eyes. Since it works well with lvl 7 & 8 dragons it could be useful in those decks
I distinctively remember your version to be a Blue-Eyes deck where you sprinkled Felgrand and Arkbrave as tech cards and not as the center piece. It would indeed seem like you need help with building this deck.

Should definitely try zombie vampire! Helps gets monsters from gy immediately if you mill them. And gives felgrand food to banish first turn. Stuff i do with them

You can search in master duel , decks which use Felgrant Dragon until a lightswors engine comes out. I played with myutants yesterday against this and that deck is busted. So many effects couldnt be stopped. But bystials were there too
I am always add 1 copy of glaxy eyes photon dragon
Its make your extra deck a lot more deadly becuse off the effect of the galaxy xyz that need him to get extra effect

Not an actual Felgrand Deck, it's DLink but he threw in Felgrand cards, most of the bystials help the DLink game plan but not the felgrand gameplan.

Not much of a Felgrand deck is it?
Yes, it is. What other felgrand cards that are good could you use? Divine dragon and felgrand knight are the only 2 good cards. This deck is a felgrand deck.
There's 3x DDL Felgrand and DDK Felgrand in this deck. This leaves 4 Felgrand cards including Felgrand Dragon itself and Skeletal Dragon Felgrand nowhere to be seen. If you'd have shown off the Bystial core first then it would have changed the whole perception of what this deck is and calling it a Felgrand Dragon deck then wouldn't seem right. @@DarkArmedDuelist
Also whether they're good cards or not doesn't stop them from being Felgrand cards.
@valvesofvalvino But it can stop the deck from being reasonably playable in todays format. These "non-Felgrand" cards actually help quite a bit to either get Felgrand, summon it or defend your board. They're just support. If the Bystials were shown first, you'd assume the following cards would support it. Felgrand doesn't support Bystials, but the Bystials definitely support Felgrand.
@@kobebonhomme7037 exactly, you can use lubellion and DDL felgrand to make felgrand knight, you can even search felgrand off of magnamhut. You always have to have support cards to help a deck. This is based on a dragon link Deck that I wanted to make felgrand the main focus of therefore it is a felgrand focused deck.
While I am very happy to see an update at all for Felgrand in general as a fellow zealot (like seriously if you look something up about Felgrand I have probably watched/seen it), I am deeply saddened to see the deep stray from the core theme of the deck which is level 7/8 Dragons and things related to them as well as rank 8s and/or Ruins control. Now I understand that the versions of the deck I'm talking about are less effective than this one but it's because this one isn't a Felgrand deck, it's Dragon Link with Felgrand cards in it for some reason??? At least it sure doesn't play/look/feel like it. I genuinely think going for Level 7/8 Dragon Synchros is fine and as such savage turbo is a fine option and I suppose Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend can serve as your "in theme" non targeting monster removal and works decently well with return. My problem is with the vast amount of Links having nothing to do with the Felgrand theme, that as well as rokkets which are a decent synchro engine but locking yourself into DARK severely limits your options. This really feels like Dragon link but worse because we threw in the felgrand cards without caring of what they're trying to accomplish because they are too slow for the current meta due to lack of support. I understand this is a Paladin-less build as well which means playing Ruins doesn't make as much sense but it begs the question of why even bother with the rokket cards if you loose the gameplay loop of how the game wants to function which is Level 7/8 Dragon turbo mostly. To me it is not the case and makes me sad that we're pretending it's a deck it isn't.
The whole purpose of this deck was to be a felgrand deck but with a dragon link take on it. The rokket package is helpful to link climb into what you need, felgrand only honestly has 2 good cards, divine dragon lord and felgrand knight, that's what the deck is based around and it is in fact a felgrand deck.
@@DarkArmedDuelist Saying this list is a felgrand deck is like saying what MBT did with ghostrick is a ghostrick deck. Is it really? I don't really think so.
@yslohr1929 big difference there. Ghostrick has +30 cards of support. Felgrand has like what? Less than 10? 3 of which are playable? One being the xyz.

Those being Herald of Creation, Dragon Knight of Creation, Guardian of Felgrand, Paladin of Felgrand, Felgrand Dragon, Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand, Arkbrave Dragon, Darkblaze Dragon, Return of the Dragon Lords, Ruins of the Divine Dragon Lords. Out of those Paladin of Felgrand, Guardian of Felgrand (in some niche cases, like looping LADD for example), Dragon Knight of Creation, Felgrand Dragon (due to an somewhat easily achievable high stat line that gets over almost anything and that is accessible in the main deck. Especially useful when the extra deck is locked and the opponent controls 4K beaters for example), Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand (On demand towers or monster negate? Hell yes!), Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, Arkbrave Dragon (delayed monster reborn, face-up s/t full wipe), Ruins of the Divine Dragon Lords (turns out, getting a lot of tokens is good, also loose 1 turn? don't mind if I do? And it recycles itself?! that's crazy!), Return of the Dragon Lords (best type specific monster reborn printed on release and today it's still good!), Dragon Knight of Creation (because of it being level 4 Dragon that you can summon to be monster reborn.) The way you build this deck doesn't allow for the Felgrand playstyle of Level 7/8 Dragons and monster reborning to be at the front of the playstyle because it's overwhelmed by the (anti-synergistic btw since you want to reborn the felgrand monsters) bystials, the rokket cards (which lock you into dark whereas divine dragon knight is a light) and Link monsters which are also not level 7 or 8 Dragons. Your deck barely supports them by just playing return because it can come up sometimes but it feels like you're playing DLink over felgrand.
@@Yslohr You're right, this isnt a 100% pure Felgrand build, the reason? Pure builds sucks, they are slow, bricky and dies to one disruption against today's decks (even trash decks plays HTs and can/will kill a pure Felgrand's build)
The only beef you should have with him is the excessive number of DDLFs.. 3 is way too much when other dragons are available and provide good support/options.
Secondly, he never recommend extra deck options to mitigate this deck weaknesses.
This deck has to be splashed with other deck engines or it will not survive, DaD strive to give us playable versions of the deck so we can still try to enjoy duelling with it so its really unfair to criticize the build for not being "pure".
