She's too op imo. Pairing her with a aoe berserker like Musashi summer and double castoria, you could easily beat any cq even if there are mobs in it.
@@angelcarrasco7801 Actually, they mentioned it in Altera's second interlude. Though IIRC it was barely a marriage. Altera pretty much just lived as nothing but a destroyer at the time and barely remembers having had a wife, so the whole notion seems odd to her. It was pretty much just a political marriage one of her retainers set up.

People shit on Galatea but you have no fucking idea just how often her *recurring three-turn team-wide full debuff cleanse* has come in handy for the most absolutely-cancerous of boss fights. That, and completely shutting down a boss's natural charge gain for four turns by virtue of a guaranteed drain on her NP.
That said, I don't contest Kriem being better. I just wish people would recognize Galatea has legitimate value. Having used her plenty, I know it's there.
Galatea is in a very (useful mind you) specific niche that Fino and others are not into..... Mid length'd Boss battles. While not single digit turn nor in the high 30+ turns, she allows you to have a pseudo support attacker. She needs a more specialized team to use her but, when you get the team right, all DoT effect bosses will lose.
Galatea is *Good* but the people review her have a meta mind set. They don't know how to think outside the box.
There's certainly a tendency to dismiss characters as useless for things that aren't really an issue outside of comp clears and challenge quests. I still remember when people were calling Arjuna worse than 4* archers for his (admittedly messy) kit, despite 5* stats and battery alone making him more useful for wave clears than most others at the time.
@@crocidile90 DCS Galatea with a plugged-in Tamamo is a pretty powerful and resilient engine for most bosses, and I struggle to think of a single one in the main story that it distinctly loses to. I've ended a number of bosses with completely full HP for the entire team with all that AoE healing on top of that team's natural bulk (Defense stacking nicely with Anti-Purge definitely helps). She's definitely on the list of top boss fight units in my roster when there's not some specific gimmick that completely screws her over. Not even just DoT bosses, by the way. Any boss that habitually stuns/terrors/etc. your party, too. As well as all those boss fights where you gain debuffs by attacking the boss. There's many cases where Galatea shines.
Kriem's just way more useful for farming because of that fat-ass battery. The double-stuffed bubble butt of batteries, if you will. Can't beat 50% when it comes to battery power unless you're some kind of Caster or an off-brand thereof.
Funny you should say that, while rolling for more NPs on her and Roland I got spooked by Galatea (first copy). So maybe I’ll try her out!

I sunk 4 months worth of Quartz and Tickets into getting 1 copy of her. Suffice to say I slept well that night.
I literally spent one ticket on the banner and wow I got her , I was beyond happy the problem is that I can't lvl her up
@@frenchpotato8613 It will e harder to level up her Skills than levelling up her in general. You can just grind the Ember nodes for EXP. But Between her final Ascension and her skills, you need 210 Ash Remembrance... Which is brand new ascension material. So good luck on that one Gonna be a while. Just beating Traum and doing a little bit of grinding in the free quests got me the first 30 for her last ascension. Needing 60 for each skill is no where near realistic at the moment.
i have been saving for about half a year for this banner,
cuz i really really loved Charle's 3rd ascension animations and multi NP Kreim's gameplay potential
Got NP3 kriem, NP1 charle, NP1 roland , couple spooks only to realize Charle's 3rd skin/animation is story locked and i cant even get Kriem to max level cuz her material is story locked too which is exclusive and not even available in pure prism shop. wtf

With anniversary and summer being so jam packed, I’m just gonna wait for the Wandjina banner to try and get her since it’ll be a solo rate up.
This is what I'm planning as well. Wandjina looks pretty neat and I was planning on rolling her anyway due to my Foreigner fixation lol.

This right here. It's a long wait, but worth it imo. Wandjina is also an SSR I'm interested in, unlike Charlie (since I already have Sokitan). And if that's too far for you, she also has a solo rateup at the end of the year with Bryn. No way in hell am I gonna blow my Arc funds on a banner whose 1) 5* I don't care for and 2) 4* I want shares their rateup with another I don't care for. That's just a disaster waiting to happen

I’ll get her on her next banner. I refuse to roll on a split rate-up with Roland, and I don’t really need Charlie either since I have Summer Okita and they serve a very similar purpose.

I ended up with an NP4 Charlie rolling for her. On the other hand, when I was throwing away the last of my quartz as a just in case, I got the last two copies for NP5 on one multi, so I was quite happy with that.
I really lucked out this banner. Picked up both Charlie and Kriem. Only NP1, but hopefully she will spook me down the line or be in a four star selector.
I heard she was good. Hearing it laid out like this, glad I didn't prematurely burn her in anger over not pulling Roland or Charlemagne to get all the Astolfo gang. Ended up with NP5 Krem before I saw a single Roland lol. Not the luck I wanted honestly but I guess for others it would be god luck.
I got her at NP2 but decided to wait for her future banners as need to keep what I have for summer/anniversary
Someone that would be interesting as a new character would be Moon Princess Kaguya. Her legend is neat and i could see her being a decent ruler/moon cancer class specializing in healing and debuff remove and immunization.

Prepare to grind your ass off for those Ashes for her final ascension & skills, because you're gonna need 210 of them (60 per skill + 30 for final ascension). And Pure Prisms won't help you there.

I rolled twice and got a copy of Roland, Kriemhild, and my 4th copy of Prince of Lan Ling. Unfortunate that I couldn't get Karl but it is what it is. I need to conserve my rolls for Summer as a hardcore F2P who already blew their reserves on finally getting Jeanne Alter after she eluded me for so many years.

I totally went in blind with this banner. I really only pulled for her because I like her and I have no idea about what she offered. Spent 63 SQ for her and got her to NP5. I am actually surprised now seeing all these videos about how good she is.
I'm screwed. The saber luck strikes again I swear it's always sabers. I was saving for ibuki and saw this video and was like you know what maybe I will dedicate 1 multi to Finno here and first pull I get Charlie. Normally this is a good thing but According to my luck if a gold saber card appears my luck is shitty on any servant banner I Wanna pull on. Also I have no notable supports and Charlie is np 1 and I haven't finished Avalon la fae what's a guy gotta do 😢.

I spent 40sq and expectedly did not get her. Too many upcoming servants (summer ibuki, summer skadi, proto merlin) and I have to save 1200sq to get a shot of at least pity on one and a good chance on the other. Otherwise I would spend more SQ on Kreim

I know Roland is one of those servants who doesn't take off until he has NP level 3 or higher but is Kriemhild one you should try getting up as high as possible or is NP level 1 enough for her?
No 2 is usually the gold standard but if u don’t have vlad or Galatea 1 should be fine

I failed to get her and I have a CE that only works on Berserkers.
20 tickets got me 2 copies of the crazy widow goth. That alone got her 2 instant grails and I'm seriously considering getting her up to 100 because her damage is fucking bestial. Now Kriem is how a good servant should be, especially when you compare her to Konstantinos (lmao) and Roland and Charles in her current banner. She is the real prize in this rate up.

Stand by Galatea as the best of the three. Her NP drain is the best effect of the three, and that's only one of several unique, highly valuable traits she has. Got her to NP4 and she is a true colossus on the battlefield.
I got LUCKY! Two 10 rolls and 1 ticket and I got her. Now comes the painful part...grinding for those new mats. Not too bad considering they are bronze but still. 180 is no joke. The grind is real.
Remember: getting 5 star you do NOT want is easier than 4 stat you want (especially when in the same banner).
It's possible to get her in the next free 4⭐ ticket, right?
What number NP do you need?
NP2 is the usual gold standard for DPS and if you're going to use her over Vlad, that's especially important since Vlad isn't story locked and also has NP upgrade. Also have to consider that Vlad has a 5 turn CD attack buff, and he has an easier time looping NP without needing facecards.
I wouldn't roll for her in Traum banner especially if you already have (NP2+) Vlad imo.
I got her np5 back in September when i made a new account in jp. After a week i also got a castoria. Needless to say she did insane damage. Even beat the story foreigners with her because of threat to humanity buff from castoria. Imagine my face when bosses that gave me trouble in my extremely well built na account where one shot by her. Like 300k damage with minimum investment in skills. And not only that, she dealt 300k THREE TURNS CONSECUTIVELY. SHE DID DAMAGE CLOSE TO MY 1 TURN MAX 3 TURNS IN A ROW
Also would like to point out that she has a targetable taunt and gets run with castoria who has a targetable invul. Im not saying that its always the best choice but a lot of time especially when on budget its a good option to taunt kriem the same turn she gets the castoria arts buff to save your team for 1 turn and also generate that little bit of np from kriem getting attacked. Ive heard people make jokes about taunting her but honestly with castoria its not even that bad
I know I lost the Roland Roulette. Took almost 500SQ to get NP2 Kriem (and I got Charlie in the first 4 tickets, too, which is nice) but in that same amount I got NP6 Roland.......
Kaguya VA and hot goth girl is a deadly combo, it's taking every ounce of my strength to not pull. I must save.
EDIT: I caved, spent 300 sq and 47 tickets, got 3 Charlies, 3 Rolands, and a Lancer Medusa. This is the most evil game in existence.

legitimately to this day I don't recall an instance prior to traum and i definitely don't recall an instance SINCE traum where they put up two SR on one banner and made one permanent and one NOT like this. i just don't see any form of rationale behind this shit. if you were gonna make kriem locked the least you might have done was put her up with ruler moriarty since s-locked characters 99% of the time were part of a Part 2 banner for close to every story chapter ever.
So, if my Kriem is NP1, is it worth it to spend all the resources/grails to make her a "better" Vlad?

Well, glad I pulled her. But those Ash costs, holy fuck! 60 per skill to go from Lv8 to Lv9 (180 total) + another 30 to get her to final ascension! And the story battles of Traum aren't coughing up Ash like you think it would. Even worse, you can't even buy more with Pure Prisms! What a bunch of assholes! So we're expected to grind for them in the Free Quests apparently.
Heracles is #1 4* hands down.

@@fgostoryteller2168 Eh... note that she had nearly two years of hype prior to Summer Castoria. Kriemhild _will_ often outperform Vlad at similar level and NP levels (and often at lower levels, too), with a lower party cost and easily a higher np level. 120 np5 is a *lot* of additional stats, though; regardless of Kriemhild's natural advantage over Vlad, that sheer level and NP difference is a lot for her to overcome.
