Alle Belle | Goan Jaggery and Coconut Pancakes | Mankeo | Tea time snacks

Alle Belle is a popular tea-time snack in Goa made with thin lace like crépes and stuffed with jaggery and coconut stuffing known as Choon in Konkani.
They are also known as Mankeo, Jaggery and coconut pancakes, Crépes filled with jaggery and coconut stuffing.

This recipe makes 12 - 14 Alle Belle
Time: 15mins
Ingredients
For Choon ( Coconut and Jaggery stuffing)
Black Jaggery - 1/2 cup (1 pyramid)
Grated coconut - 1.5 cup (1 coconut)
For Crépes
All-purpose flour / Maida - 1 cup
Egg - 1 no
Salt - 1/4 tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp or Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Water - 2 cups ( for batter)
Other ingredients
Water - 1 cup
Oil/ Ghee - As required
