i hope to own one someday, some nicer features then the rx7 and you still get a rotary, even though rotarys are not that reliable i think it would be a great project car especially for how cheap you can buy them, i can see them becoming more popular in the future soon project car wise
@@emanueltorres4093 reliable but sensitive. I own a bmw 335i and she cries just as much as the rx8. The only difference is that even when the BMW has issues it can still get you home 9-10 times. I've owned both an rx8 and now an N54 bmw. I prefer my 380 wheel horsepower luxery coupe over the dorito miata...
I can't lie, I kinda want an RX-8 so I can absolutely thrash it without feeling bad at all! Just barreling down drainage ditches and catching air coming out the other side! Screeching around corners, tires barely holding onto dry pavement, with the roof on fire! Sounds like a blast!

Rust was the reason I widebodied my 98 2.5 rs, it needed the rear quarters, front fenders, and rockers replaced which would've cost basically the same as the abs 6ovrcrst kit, so now it's 63mm wider on each side and looking proper with 18x9 265/35
What a lot of people, especially guys selling chevys with kinda rusty rockers, 9/10 rust starts from inside and works it’s way out. Once rust is showing it’s done all the way through usually.
What would proper offset be for something like an 18x10.5 in the back? Probably picking up a clapped RX8 for a track car in the next couple weeks and these Lions kits look insane
Wouldn't go with mig welding. I tig'd up my widebody kit and purged as much as I could to prevent any start locations for moisture/rust to begin again. Would also suggest going with every piece for suspension P2M has to offer if you're not trying to go for function like wisefab.
