I just picked up an Audi A4 for $1250 because the guy was pulling codes for no signal to the computer. I bought it and checked the ecm and fuel pump relays and they both were hella corroded. I replaced them (now the car runs perfect) and now I’m in the process of cleaning it now and making it look nice. The carfax value is $4800

Look into a combustion leak detector yeah u might look crazy whipping out a turkey baster and chemicals but at the end of the day u avoid blown headgasket or cracked heads.
i think 460s had a fuel pump recall awhile back or something like that coulda been the problem. next time try running bg44k with a fresh tank of gas it cleans out the fuel system gets it running smoother. good stuff tho man!
Someone else told me to add fuel system cleaner also but I decided to get rid of it due to the fact that I already had another car to sell. it was a nice car tho it actually ran good and the interior was actually real clean with no rips other than the trash. if i didn’t have the other car, i would’ve diagnosed the problem more.
