When you buy the car and sign the pink slip for it then take it home can you really just sell it next day or do you have to go pay dmv fee for reg and then sell it
The (big) men with big noses want their cut of your deals so its incredibly illegal to do things under the radar without paying your taxes. Fuck them honestly, i sell better quality cars than dealerships.

How do you sell the cars without being at a lot? We have to do it there, and take care of tax, title, and plates.

How does the title work? do they give you blank title so you can sell it without ever having to register is or put your name on the title?
That’s called title jumping and that is ILLEGAL
How does the title work
This is a good example of how to do a half rate job of flipping a car. Obviously no actual maintenance was done. Passing on all the mechanical needs while trying to shill the car off on someone who might not be the wiser just isn't an honest practice.
You can polish a turd, but in the end, it'll still be a turd.

I see your point, but is it not the buyers responsibility to check the car over before buying, and satisfying themselves that it’s in good working order? It’s a second hand car(looks like a private sale too) so it’s sold as seen (as we call it in the UK)
@@jonnygti It is according to the state I live in. In the US we have what's called a lemon law. If you buy a NEW car from a dealership, the dealership is responsible for anything that happens should the vehicle be inoperable. However, (according to Tennessee law) the buyer is responsible in the situation because you're buying a used car as is.
that is why I love Buddy's DIY. he actually does a lot of work on the cars so they're in relatively good shape for the next buyer. these videos where the guys just wash the car or fix the paint and then list it make me feel bad for the buyers lol

This is dead ass how you flip a car. It's not a new car and at the end of the day he has to make money. If you do the maintenence you'll be higher then the other corollas and not sell. You got to know the market
Did you pay sales tax on the car from the auction, and when you bought it did you put your name on the title?
Probably not if he's in that kind of auction. He probably has a dealer license

dont do it man if you get caught flipping cars it will cost alot you will get in bad trouble.only with a dealer license is legal .i flipped cars for years and never got caught but many people i know did and i feel sorry for them.i stopped doing that before anything happens .im also from los angeles but honestly i wouldnt tell anyone where they can get flip cars bacause its not good to do that.

How do you be sure the person you’re selling to won’t play any funny games when it’s time to buy the car (pulling a gun etc) is there a safe option to get your deals done since it’s a stranger
I think it's a real risk that you have to take. You never know what kind of people are out there. I'd say bring someone with you just in case and in a public place.
Wow! Lots of Nigerian names are listed there! Do you know why? This has been one of the best-selling cars in Lagos, Nigeria in the last few years. It goes for about 3.5 million naira once it's imported. (5,500 - 7,000 dollars depending on exchange rate!

I have a 2004 Toyota Corolla...... the car sells itself, my car has 370+ thousand miles..... the odometer stopped at 299,999 miles, you can't kill this Yota..... anybody that knows, knows they have timing chains and they will run forever as long as you keep the oil changed, its not the body that sells the car, it's the engine people foam at the mouth and drool over these cars, I have been using mine for my delivery job and have put 50,000 miles on it since I have bought it, it's already paid for itself, my friend is a mechanic and has one and he said these Corolla's will outlast anything you own, you can't kill em......' seriously!!

yes you do, if you dont register in your name or sign the title then you are "jumping titles" and its a felony in most states.
One thing you didn't mention. How did you get a title for the car when it came with no title? That's a big headache right there

@@mjlagatao8031 incase you’re still wondering to get a dealer license you first need to get a state license ( costs about $500 and you file at your local Secretary of State) once you do that you need to find a commercial space to run your business ( it can be a $250 a month office just to get your dealer license later on) next is to get insurance and bond( you can go to any insurance agent and compare prices( Bond is about 2k-8k renew every year depending on credit and insurance is like $250/month.
Once you have your State License,commercial space, bond and insurance, go to your local DMV and apply for a Dealer License, once you get that you have access to dealer plates, loan plates, access to print 30 day permits, access to dealer auctions and bid on cars. Ohh and don’t forget to pay your taxes.

Depending on the state you live in, non-licensed dealers are allowed to sell 5 cars a year. However, if you live with someone, you can use their name (with their consent of course) to sell an additional 5 cars and so on.

Let me guess… you’re selling cuz yur buying and SUV lol … my marketplace is filled with corollas that are all mysteriously being sold for that reason. I always ask how much oil it uses in between changes only to get a response that involves gaslighting if some sort. The secret problem that devalues corollas is excessive oil consumption. Its fine if you drive it around adding oil, but if you get an oil burner to resell and pass it off as having a good motor, well that makes you garbage person. Ive been in the car industry for years and love sniffing out and exposing those slimeballs. Only corollas i buy are 1 or 2 owner with STACKS of records . I qualify the owners also, as well as the owner.

not really bc 2700 for a corolla with 140k is a stupid good deal...if anything hes doing them a service and offering nice car for the low....not everyone is going to buy the software, buy the paint guns,, invest money and riak for the flip....its a good deal
