This wonderful game brought a very interesting and cool character to the world of Star Wars. Cameron Monaghan deserves special attention, his image of Cal Kestis turned out to be very lively and memorable.
I would love to see this character in the movie or TV show.

The Lightside Of The Force
I think Cal is one of the best written Jedi in star wars.
he's great but I liked Luke and Kanan from Rebels are pretty great too.
Felt more emotion for Cal and his crew than the entirety of the sequel trilogy. This is the story we deserved.
Cal is more of an protagonist than Rey ever was. Also, Cal is red headed and Rey is not redheaded.
That already makes him a way better protagonist.
Agree, shame that we just see him and other character just in video game. The story of the game is really good than sequel trilogy.

Maybe this is overstating things, but I think Cal is one of if not my favorite Jedi. He's constantly put in challenging situations. He's confronted by people like Malicos and the sisters who know where he's coming from and attack his convictions. He has experienced great loss and some might suggest he has every right to give up, despair, and turn to the dark side. And yet, inspite of all this, he continues to be a beacon of hope. He reminds me of Star Wars’ Peter Parker honestly, similar reasons to why I love both characters

for me tapal's mentorship was so solid the key was "persistence was like key for him and failure is just part of the journey... then trust only in the force" he used to give up easy when things weren't going his way... cuz according to some jedis when he was a youngling he is kind of super talented basically a genius their words were "rarely struggled in training and showed promise with lightsaber but not suited for adversity and dealing with failure..." tapal may not be the most powerful jedimaster but he was the perfect master/mentor for him change him and made him better. we wouldn't have kestis without him.

Cal Kestis' story makes me so emotional. He is more than just the unwilling hero. He's complex and there's big moments where you feel like you're wandering aimlessly when you play as him - but that's because he feels it too. And when he nearly drowned at Ilum, when he thought he failed... I sobbed for him because I knew he still had a lot of story to go, but only if he could find the strength to do it. It would have been easy for him to give up, to be at the end there, but he pushed through it all.
Cal Kestis is a game character but he didn't feel like one - it felt like I was watching a friend find their purpose. It's an odd thing to say but playing as him and then watching his growth as a character made you feel closer to him, and he was so well written. This video highlights all of that.

Cal Kestis is one of my favorite jedi, he is constantly challenged from confronted, challenged by inquisitors, malics and even darth vader, he is my favorite jedi, he didn't give up even after the purge, even though he tried to forget the fact that he was a jedi, he cannot keep this secret, much less forget it... even if the empire wants to destroy the force, throw it into darkness, Cal Kestis, Obi-Wan and other Jedi don't give up, the Jedi fight for others , never by themselves...
I'm being honest, I'm really looking forward to seeing the continuation of this game and seeing how Cal has matured.
Except for Luke who runs away and leaves Han to die and Leia alone.
Wow! This was such an epic and emotional tribute for Cal Kestis. I'm so hyped to continue his story when "Star Wars Jedi: Survivor" releases next year.

4:56 - 5:52 is my favorite part
So many of us live their life in a indentity crisis, some not even realising it. This part shows that like Cal, overtime we can find our place in the galaxy and find out our life's purpose.
It’s a coincidence that Mark Hamill played Luke Skywalker in Star Wars and voiced Joker in both the DC Animated Universe and the Arkham Trilogy and Cameron Monaghan played both Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska in Gotham voiced Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
In the whole game cal find and protect the list.but when he destroyed it,he became the real Master.

I don't care what others say. Your favorite character can be obi-wan, or Luke, or Ben solo. Mine will always be Cal Kestis.

One of my favorite Star Wars protagonists. My sister pointed out a very subtle trait the actor did, when his saber breaks, his voice changes back to being a scared kid. After making a new saber, he's back to the grown up and confident voice.
@@MegaKnight2012 Also when Vader says he would be wise to surrender, and Cal replies: “yeah, probably” his voice wobbles and cracks. Cameron Monaghan could have made it cocky but he turned it more realistic by making us remember that he’s still a scared kid, not even 18 yet, and battling against every Jedi’s worst nightmare alone, with nobody to help him. He most likely thought he’d die alone. But the words themselves showed a bravery and willingness to fight. I love it!
Cal is one of my favorite jedi I feel he’s also a great example of the Jedi order
I embraced the darkside and became a Sith Lord but then I turned away from that and chose the path of a Jedi my heart is Sith but I am a Jedi passion power strength discipline knowledge are the keys to being a Jedi …..and I will be a Jedi til the end “trust only in the force who ever reads this may the force be with you….always *ignites emerald green lightsaber*”

Jedi survivor ina month and a half
The ending was kind of disappointing they talk about rebuilding the Jedi Order throughout the whole damn game to make sure those kids don't get slaughtered and killed by the Empire but at the end they're like "Nah, let's just destroy this holocron and let their destiny be entrusted to the Force." well guess what they don't do shit in the future they all probably got slaughtered because of their choices and Luke had to take the heavy load why couldn't put it in a place where Luke can find it the whole journey was pointless I really hope the story for Jedi Survivor is not a waste of time.
@@andrewcabral963 you saw what happened if you were to rebuild the ordered though though I agree with you I believe he made the right decision he would have ended up becoming an inquisitor and all those kids being killed so in the end he made the right call
@@ShadowedSasuke But that was just a vision he had no idea was real or not it's like Yoda said the future is always in motion also Trilla is dead now so why should they worry they can find some place to train these younglings because if they didn't Vader will kill them just like he did years ago during Order 66 Cal basically doomed them all.

Very well put together, incredible work and music, and you hit all the points that make Cal who he is, someone that went into hiding and was lost, but then started to find his way back, to become one of the most compelling Jedi Knights that I have seen in ages after Disney took over. this game is a top favorite for me. wish i didn’t see some of the spoilers. the game would have been all round better if the planet exploring wouldn’t have been as confusing at times.
Played Fallen order a while back when it was released. Just finished Survivor 2 days ago and been wondering what next. Then I find this tribute in my recommendation and it legit made me tear up, it was perfect! I'm really hoping the rumours are true and Cal's arc will end up being a trilogy, because we definitely need more. Definitely gonna replay Fallen order now after watching your tribute. Awsome job!
