I am loving how the Gorosei are just ruthlessly and efficiently getting a job done. No evil villain monologues, no overly elaborate schemes, no tragic backstories, no vendettas, no infighting.
"We have 10 minutes to accomplish these objectives. Mercury and Jupiter, you're on Nika/Giant control. Venus, neutralize the pacifista and secure Bonney. Saturn, prevent the Sunny from leaving. Mars, turn off that damn snail."
And then they do. These are the villains that I've been waiting to go up against for a long time!

The Red Roc scene really puts into perspective how strong the Gorosei are. I mean, this attack hurt KAIDO for god's sake, but this time it's Luffy's hand that's hurting. It felt harrowing reading the panel where Saturn was climbing over the cloudy ledge, but to then turn the page and see Gandhi in that silhouette? Goosebumps! And just when I thought this guy couldn't get any cooler, here comes Tissine with her incredible rendition, giving the rest of us artists imposter syndrome again XD. Great video as always, and day 69 of recommending Bleach

You want theories, well I'll give you some theories: Since Stella and the satellites back up their brains, killing their bodies is pointless. York was never a traitor and this has all been a plot to capture one of the Gorosei. Vegapunk invented a device that can extract the truth, and wanted to broadcast the message to the whole world. There is no recording and it is a projection of Stella and the non-embodied satellites, which is why they kept stalling, so their target had time to get in place.
That would be the craziest twist holy crap
You know...crazy as this theory is, the panel where York describes the new den den mushi was VERY oddly presented. Like, the way the panel is framed is classic "do not trust what this character is saying" manga panelling 🤔
This is actually what’s going on, but Vega punk really does have to get off the island ASAP! He’s trying to get back to elbaph, Saul knows what’s going on, luffy knows what’s going on, Vega punk knows what’s going on, and apparently this one commenter also knows what’s going on 👍

I hope the trend of Vegapunk tricking the Elders continues posthumously. That moment when Saturn is like, “I’m a scientist too, so you can’t trick me”, I knew the Elders would keep underestimating him, like they seem to with all humanity

This weeks chapter was really really good set up. Some really iconic pages too, specifically Venus stairing down Bonies group. Idk if other felt like this but for the longest time, even before we knew their names, mars seemed the least intersting or atleast just generally overshadowed by the figures that were "samurai ghandi" and "Sanjis uncle" (old fan names for venus and jupeter) but these past few chapters have made me adore mars as a villian. The itsumade is awesome, just the way interacts with characters like york and lucci, hes just so impossing and I have high hopes for his villany going forward. So hyped.
It could just be dramatic tension (how things get resolved just in time when there's a countdown involved in stories), but part of me feels like it's not a coincidence that the "1 minute left" happens right as Mars finds the snail. Part of me wants to believe that Vegapunk had timed things out, like he somehow knew that when the broadcast was needed, it would take the enemy just over 10 minutes to disrupt it, at which point he has something big planned. Wishful thinking, I'm sure, though. I doubt you can plan for Straw Hats vs Gorosei without actually seeing the future.
I'm personally with the theory that the transmission is coming from Dragon/Kamabaka Queendom, since the arc started with Vegapunk telling Dragon that he was likely gonna die soon and York hasn't been connecting to Punk Records recently so she wouldn't have known if Stella/Shaka were communicating and planning out this message with Dragon (plus she was mentioned as being disconnected from what the other Vegapunks do, since she's practically relegated to her ESP cycles).
Tissine is killing it with the artwork! Besides your dope reviews, I look forward to the art each time. Amazing video as always.

that art piece near the end is freeeeeeeeeeaking next-level. Might be one of the best One Piece-related pieces of art I've ever seen, and I've been looking at that stuff for over 15 years at this point.
the snail was in film red so i think it's the real one but it seems that you have to destroy all of those snails to end the broadcast so i wouldn't be suprised if Vegapunk sets up a dozens of snails around near by islands making it impossible to stop the broadcast.

At 15:38 you made me realize that Vegapunk had his brain removed and the Stella was operating off of an antena, so no Vegapunk is not dead. At worst his original body died, but it's still kind of a meat puppet.

This is the same snail uta used in the film red . One of the cover arts of dragon has the same one too. Usopp lied about fighting many spiders during jaya arc while they were searching for the South Bird.

I think this was an excellent set up chapter, so I think the things this chapter set up are what's gonna really blow us away, battles with the Gorosei, we finally get to see inside punk records, sacrifices coming up for sure, and the message should be starting next chapter
Part of me wants the 'glug glug' sounds to be Caribou just to see your reaction (and hatred)
A lot of theories are about Vegapunk's brain being inside that room but I sort of doubt it would be in there of all places. If Vegapunk really wanted to set a good trap he wouldn't just have something silly on the ceiling to trick the gorosei because I'm sure sea prism stone or any other normal trap would stop them. Seeing as this arc is a lot about technological advances and the subtle mention that Stussy was the *1st* sucessful cloning experiment of the Rocks Pirates, I would love to see Rocks D. Xebec, cloned, inside a bubbling tube staring right at the gorosei. If Rocks was cloned to be just like the seraphim, he could be strong enough to fend off Mars long enough for the message to fully play out. I'm probably wrong but it would be cool to finally get a reveal of him and his strength and maybe even a new devil fruit we haven't seen yet!

I think you missed some things:
-There is a triangular snail in the manga
-We see the severed leg of the giant
All hell is about to break loose. I think Oda is about to go wild these next few chapters. I also think we’re in a spot where all the Vegapunks are going to die one-by-one to the Gorosei.
Also, I’m not sure what it is that Mars was looking at, but he looks terrified imo. So it’s gotta be something crazy.

could be, they were communicating telepathically with Saturn all the way from Marijois, but it could also just be observation haki, just like Rayleigh and Aisa can sense life form in an entire island even the smallest voice
I think it’s another vegapunk satellite with seraphim blood that’s in an “in case of emergency, break glass” type vat almost like how we met s-shark. Just imagine Vega-07 with like 3 paramecia blood arm bands.
The most excting idea I could think of with the glug glug was that it could be a Whitebeard seraphim/clone drinking booze guarding the place. Everything is point towards Weevil being a failed Whitebeard clone so Vegapunk should have some of his DNA, and if he'd succeed Vegapunk does seems like the kind of guy that would hide that from the World Government keeping it for something special.

So talking about Kuma. I don't know how his story gonna go in the future because there is plenty of theories that Kuma is gonna do one last thing before this arc ends. I really think that Kuma is still gonna be a major factor. Even though he is not fully function, he is still not moving so maybe, something is gonna happen with him
Kuma still need to see his idol Nika, fully. Maybe he is aware when Luffy goes Gear 5 BUT i don't know

Youd think that if they can carry out bodily functions for eachother like how york eats and craps for everyone and atlas burns energy, youd think that theyd all be able to feel the other satellites dying.

I think they are going to stop the broadcast but will have a backup the strawhats will play later on when the fight against the elders gets into its final stages with Franky doing that using Celestial Dragon snails during the final fight.

What if the “glub glub” is an upgraded version of the blob the fought on Punk Hazard? That was the first thing I thought of. Other than MAYBE Seraphim Jimbei swimming in the ceiling but that seems less likely.
