I'm 25% Moroccan and Thank You for showing me how diverse and beautiful it is! I'm so used to seeing street beggars and poorly structured dwellings.I did work with an animal rescue group in the Caribbean for 25 years and I know the heartache that comes with meeting strays and trying to help them.Thank You for bringing some extra food for the pups you meet on your travels.Stay Safe!
That was really interesting to see how the folks from other countries came up with ingenious solutions in the van, like the office chair base! I love that the guy was not willing to leave his instruments behind and built around them. No professional-built van will ever compare to these, in my opinion. The DIY vans have SO MUCH character! As a dog lover, it melts my heart to see you feed the street dogs. It’s hard seeing them so thin. Safe travels!
"Social Distancing" has always been part of our routine living the van life and over the past decade we've have the privileged of waking up in many remote and varied locations (like this one in Morocco) as we drive around the world. Right now we're all confined and we know a lot of you, like us, are yearning for the day we can get back outside and go exploring. Friends, that day is coming, and when it does it will be oh so sweet! Until then, stay strong, stay safe and stay inspired! ► *NEXT EPISODE // DRIVING AROUND THE WORLD SERIES:* ua-cam.com/video/ks_NDL0QAv0/v-deo.html Updates via Instagram: instagram.com/KombiLifeAdventures/
sorry what did you mean when you said 15:54 ''rabies are present in dogs cats and monkeys in morocco and hopefully not people'' moroccan people had rabies ?
Fascinating van tours. I know you guys are in a rough spot but hey it does make for interesting TV. Curious to see how things go and what you figure out. Hang in there and stay safe.
You guys are a literal inspiration for me. I've always wanted to do this one day and for the past three years every week I've watched a new Kombi Life Video. Safe travels!
What a lovely video! It seems like it would be a great comfort to travel through unfamiliar places with other like-minded folks. The fellow who played all those different musical instruments was such a joy to see. When we travel in our RV (caravan) I always weigh the pros and cons of bringing musical instruments. They bring such joy to the campsite, but are hard to pack. This one seemed dicey at times. Hope you all are doing everything possible to stay safe in unfamiliar territory. Stay safe, and happy camping.
I love your video's. So grateful you can still put them out due to where you are now. I have fingers crossed that you and Leah and Alaska will be able to still get supplies and be safe. Patience will be put to the test for us all at this point.
It is great that your channel and everyone on it can all watch these great videos and remain entertained in the tough times we are in. Stay safe everyone. ❤️
My ex wife and I took a Street dog from an archaeological park called Salinunti in 2001 on the SW coast of Sicily. He was skin and bone and he was a huge chance we took. Sal was the the best gamble I've ever taken in my life; what a gift he was .
Your Kombi is much better off road than nearly everything other than 4x4. Great series. A more realistic view of Morocco than most perhaps? Will have to wait a year to find out for ourselves👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Very enjoyable vid - so chilled - you guys and Alaska will be good - I feel that for you all, my heart and thoughts are with you everyday, Self isolating Mark and his two sons in Norfolk U.K. 🙏
I've been following you now for I guess seven years since the first hasta alaska videos, You need to stay safe so we can keep watching for another seven years as you travel the rest of the world AND GET MARRIED :-)
Great video guys. I'm a Moroccan Berber from Dade's valley but living in Essaouira. Morocco is safer than other countries and every Moroccan would welcome you. You are very welcome to our country, you are guests
Praying for your safety. Also, What do you mean you don't like the cold? I can remember when your life's ambition was to make it to one of the coldest places on Earth. The dog's name is even Alaska. I guess it sounds fun, in theory.
I am a huge fun of yours guys i have been following your series a long time ago... You have been so close to my town, i wish you enjoyed your time there.. I am currently in spain so Pray for Us ❤️🌹
Oh yes, our dogs are from the streets of Spain...Mogli, a galgo, was heartbreakingly skinny and severely injured by other dogs, when I adopted him...when in Spain, we also leave some food and water to the strays when we come across them.
@@davezorn5396 I was surprised by the size, because I saw the other day a small electric car with a smaller battery than you have inside your van! :D But I can understand, there are pros and cons, and you saw it differently than me. At least kwh are definitely a very versatile type of "fuel" and you have a lot of possibilities with it. My personal philosophy is to have backup options for everything that can go wrong, so I don't need to invest so heavily on my primary systems. for instance: I would have a smaller battery system with induction and for instance a outdoor gas stove as a backup option (or a diesel stove to avoid a different fuel). Anyway, I liked your van build. The wood work is very good! I would never guessed that it was not professionally made! :D
@@carlosvaraujo Yeah! You're totally right and I agree about always having a backup system, and we actually have one: a woodstove! By the way, our 12kwh batteries are 100% powered by 1KW solar and our aim was to avoid depending on gas bottles and contributing to the demand of fossil fuels as much as we can! Electric car usually use lithium batteries, which are much more smaller and lighter than ours (GEL), but they are, still, too expensive for our budget :(.
@@davezorn5396 Mr. Ben must have been think of our discussion in his latest video! :D when people suggest lithium the first thing I always think is in his toasted van back in Alaska! :# I had no idea he also had 400Ah under his tinny van.. but good for him, because I also can't afford those overpriced Battleborns.. :P

And to you ✌
Music was "House Of The Rising Sun". Gives away my age. 73'
I recognized it, by The Animals.
Steve Noel, I picked it up as well, right away! Funny how music transcends time, I’m 54, your 73, yet we both know good music when we hear it!
I wondered who else noticed. Took me a while, but I really liked this version!
From a '99 baby.
I'm 18 but I instantly recognized it. Good music transcends generations!
Was my ringtone ... very recognizable tune although a first for me is the accordian version!
House of the rising sun on accordion.....damn straight ✊
Right?!? That was so sick.
I could listen to him all day. Excellent.
House of the Rising Sun on an accordian, obviously a man of good taste and culture.
Yeah, "House of the rising sun" that's because he couldn't play any Polkas ;-)
I was looking to see if any more people got it
