FRANK ZAPPA CHUNGA'S REVENGE LIVE MUSICIANS :Ike Willis (Guitar), Tommy Mars (Keyboard), David Logeman (Drums), Arthur Barrow (Bass), Ray White (Guitar).
Frank Zappa has always been an underrated guitarist, but he is among the most technical to ever exist. His solos always have a lot of melody, harmony and a large dose of brilliant improvisation. He deserved to be more recognized for his virtuosity on his instrument.
Great guitarist, but not underrated, also not among the most technically accomplished to ever exist. FZ would tell you that himself if he were alive today.

Frank’s guitar work was highly involved and creative. Just wondering whatever became of drummer, Dave Logemann, and why he only lasted a little while with the group? Cant really figure out the correlation between his titles and the instrumentals. Perhaps just some inside joke or happening around the time he composed it. SHUT UP AND PLAY YOUR GUITAR album a good example. What was going thru his mind when he titled DEATHLESS HORSEY?
FZ = Brilliantly Unique. Composer 1st. Guitars , Syncaviour, Keyboards . Came 2nd. Just his tools . Players are a dime a dozen . His Mind Separates him. Like Miles Davis , Robert Fripp .
Once you're hooked on his music, you can never let it go. It's like a f****** drug man. I can't go a day without listening to his music.. If I don't listen to it, I'm going to withdraw especially his live stuff. I mean, and I'm absolutely addicted to finding Zappa bootLegs like I guess Grateful Dead fans are. Maybe Vinnie called again and rejoined …
From what I heard, Frink hired another drummer that he refused to work with, so he quit.
Remember this concert in Paris, I was 18

"There is no hell. There is only France."
If you ever attended a FZ concert then yo will know what 'presence' means. This 'presence' will make your hair stand on end.
one of the best composers in 20th Century
Who was Chunga? And why did they require , , ,REVENGE?
Hands down best comment on UA-cam 2014.
you should ask Frank when he´s alive
this reads like a norm macdonald joke
Cant really figure out the correlation between his titles and the instrumentals. Perhaps just some inside joke or happening around the time he composed it. SHUT UP AND PLAY YOUR GUITAR album a good example. What was going thru his mind when he titled DEATHLESS HORSEY?
Ed Hunt
Chunga was a friend of Bobby Brown and he wanted revenge for the thieves that robbed Joe's Garage!
A 63ans j écoute frank tout les jours +je les découvert a15ans khôl et merci zappa
wonderful version, I love it
A fitting testament to the Great Chunga by the Great Zappa.
FZ = Brilliantly Unique.
Composer 1st.
Guitars , Syncaviour, Keyboards .
Came 2nd.
Just his tools .
Players are a dime a dozen .
His Mind Separates him.
Like Miles Davis , Robert Fripp .
Jeezus, what a way to open the show...with a scorching solo by Frank.
How could anyone who loves music give this a thumbs down?
central scrutinizer, probably
Elas Mobranch ...because it doesn't look anything like MTV😱
Because Beyonce didn't take credit for it.
Maybe music that's genuinely interesting makes them nervous.
because thry're morons
One of the greatest musicians that has ever existed Frank Zappa

and you do right !
bryan todd ,best comment, gold
A muso's muso.
Frank Zappa's music was the acid trip. No drugs needed. Just close your eyes and go with it.
Frank was the best at playing extended modal solos. The BEST!
The second time I seen Frank here in Orlando he did a he shredded a version of yes's owner of a lonely Heart absolutely incredible!
Flies all green and buzz'n in his dungeon of dispair.
master "air sculpture" telling stories with his guitar. Long live FZ
Zappa concerts were always a gas,
Amazing !!!!!
Dave logeman was no vinny chester chad or my favorite Terry. Don't know how he managed that gig of course. He wasn't there long. Frank went back to Vinnie for another tour and then Chad for the rest of the time.
Vinnie was my personal favorite. His synergy with Frank on Inca Roads Manchester England 1979 is unbelievable. God I wish I was alive back then….
stratospheric sublimeness
Merci Frank pour ta belle musique!! JF Gleyze
