    I love the idea of tucking in Zinnias to shade the roots of your Snapdragons. Thank you!

    I really appreciate the depth of your videos. I’ve only ever planted a few flowers in my garden because I’ve never had much success with anything but columbine. After watching your videos I feel more confident and have purchased more flowers than vegetables for my garden this year! Thanks again for being such a great teacher! 😊

    Omg your corms look great I also saved all my corms to save money they were cheap at Costco but decided to still save them incase I can’t find them again. I saved mine in paper sandwich bags. Hopefully they can just keep multiplying ❤

    Definitely, interested in following your rannunculus videos. Mine just started blooming this week, Maryland 7b. I started them in January. We haven't gotten hot, yet, but I know once we do they won't last long. I've never tried digging them and bringing them back but want to try this year. I'm thinking about starting them in the fall in a raised bed, that I can cover during freezes and see what happens. We don't usually have extended deep freezes but certainly have many nights in the 20's. Yours were stunning.

    Working in ones garden is so enjoyable. All I have to say about how many Ranunculus corms you harvested is wow. So many. However so much money you have saved. Looking forward to seeing what blooms you get next year. Your garden having so many worms is really a good thing. Your garden soil looks so enjoyable to work in. I am working my gardens to be that way. I think it will be a work in progress. Have a wonderful rest of your day.

      I’m so excited with the number of worms in that bed. Interestingly enough, I worked in a couple of other gardens and didn’t see quite as many as that first bed.

    There were ranunculus on sale this spring, but too late to plant. Can I just keep them in a dark, dry place until I decide to either try to plant them in the fall and overwinter, or presprout next spring? I have some in the ground, I don't love the colors, they were a trial for a first-timer, but I plan to leave them in the ground and see what happens. (Maryland, Zone 7b).

    So when you plant the Ranculus corms in the fall is it still hot outside there in Texas ?? I live in Florida and I wanted to do that last year but it was still so hot outside. I ended up planting them in trays and putting them in my garage refrigerator and then I planted them in pots They ended up not going in the garden untill January. So I only got a few
    Blooms and then it was too hot for😮 them. I am leaving them in my raised beds this year. So I will see how it worked in the spring

    • @shesamadgardener
      @shesamadgardener  21 день тому

      Yes because at the time they are only putting on foliage which helps them establish before the cooler weather when they will put up blooms. But Florida might be tough!

    Do you put cinnamon on the ranunculas on the open spots from separation?

    • @shesamadgardener
      @shesamadgardener  22 дні тому

      I don’t … as long as you give them lots of air, they will scab over in the places where they broke.

  • @terigreen8649

    I just bought some coins and soaked them to plant them, but you are pulling yours up?

    • @shesamadgardener
      @shesamadgardener  22 дні тому

      Yes these are a cool weather plant … they don’t bloom in heat which is why I had to start them in the fall and overwinter then for early spring blooms. But it is dependent on your zone! I’m zone 8 in Texas and we are already hitting the 90s.
