I love how simple murder cases can't possibly be that simple according to the players, and puzzles that are baby-level easy, can take forever too.

Unfortunately Jocat doesn't like people reacting to his vids, Renegades where reacting to them but stopped and deleted there reactions after Jocat asked them too.

@@mrroboshadow I think part of jocat doesn't want to be only known for his crap guides. He's a talented dude who does a lot of stuff. I also think while he likes playing jocrap he wants to make sure that people realize that jocrap is just a character he puts on.

I just wanted to point out that Animal Handling, which is what you'd use to befriend a shadow beast in D&D, is actually a wisdom based skill.

TPK suck but I think with the right people they can work, when people are mature enough to accept what happened.
One of my campaigns ended with a TPK in the Abyss... That was pretty rough; the group had been sent there by accident when they destroyed an artifact that connected the planes; they had lost their items on arrival and went on a quest to find them back, specially interested in the druid's backpack, since that had the components for Planar Shift...
But they got greedy; see, I had prepared a fairly challenging Abyss themed "vacation" on the quest for their lost items; it wasn't _easy_ but god knows I was holding back on some of the more drastic things in the Abyss. Then, when they got their items back, the players gathered to talk, and the chat went a little bit like this:
"Anyone notice that we have been growing exponentially stronger in here? The enemies are tough but we can handle them, and we are becoming more and more strong by the minute... Out there we have challenges awaiting us that we until now didn't even dream of managing to face, but maybe if we stick around longer here and improve our skills fighting against these demons, maybe we'll grow to meet those challenges?"
At this point I ask them to go OOC...
Me: Are you guys telling me that you all want to...
Party: We want to power level in the Abyss =D
Me: ... You _do_ know how bad this place is, don't you? I mean, I feel sick just describing the environment for you guys...
Party: But we think we can handle it =D
Me: .... Sure... Sure... Just to make things _absolutely_ clear, I have been choosing any encounter with care, with things that thematically appropriate but also to your level. Cause this was a quest. If you guys wanna stay here, the random tables are coming out.
Party: We can handle it, and we have Planar Shift now, how bad can it get =D
Around an hour later we were having our TPK. They were in a fungi forest in Zuggitmoy's domain and had been warned by a quasi-friendly demon they had encountered that noises attracted terrifying creatures in the area. Promptly forgetting this a few moments later, a player cast fireball, and they were swarmed by a... Well, _swarm_ of Nabassus. Guess how well that went.
He did do a follow-up campaign and he does tell the story in another one of his animations how my campaign ended is the name of the video
That reminds me of an Evil Campaign I went through that I won. "I have destroyed multiple universes, and I finally have the power to overpower the God's themselves! I can do whatever I want! Now what?"
If the last player had shown up, the fighter’s paralysis probably would have worn off so he could join the fight.
Tortle's are freaking awesome, they make good fighters and survivable spell-casters due to their natural AC of 17 (with an ability to go into their shell for a +4 ontop)

Oogway was a character from Kung Fu Panda that basically was word for word that guy's design. Also you should watch Epithet Erased, it's by JelloApocalypse and is loosely based on a tabletop game he hosted with some friends

I forgot about that part of the second video. They were so suspicious of the evidence that they ended up going to a mansion and killing completely unrelated people to the case.

I have a homebrew creature called BombPups. They are created by liches or other to essentially store a Fireball spell in a puppy along with yanking its soul out and making it resurrect in its dog house after it blows up. The dog is in constant pain from this and the only way to put it out of its misery is a 9th level dispelled magic or just killing it.

I'm a dm. Buuuut it's an online session. I've gotten so paranoid with my players rolls cause they tend to always roll 17+ with maybe one low roll every few sessions. It's gotten so bad they now take screen shots of there apps screen.
They are also very simple minded I I usually have to explain what there supposed to do or else I get yelled at for making it "too hard"
