I went through two 750cc Royal Enfields back in the "good old days" (circa mid-1960s). My RE, my bride, and I spent a 3-month (January-March) honeymoon in Death Valley doing graduate study of the geology. Roundtripped from Minneapolis, MN and, later, Buffalo, NY, to/from Colorado and Wyoming. I don't know about this new version, but back in my era, it was kickstart ONLY. And most people didn't have the combination of leg strength and timing to do the job. Back then, the RE didn't come with an air filter ... so, I Rube Goldberged an auto air filter to fit the dual carburetors on my RE. Many, many wonderful memories!!
I get it as well its as you note more about what they want to evoke emotionally vs the product.... Like marketing tampons.... And yes I have a RE 650 and these are local So Cal locations and I did ride them back in the day they are appealing too.... Great bike

Yes , Kawasaki gives the same 650 for 6 lakh but still it has higher power and anyway the best bikes ( twins ) of ROYAL ENFIELD and will be a legend forever
Don't buy this bike don't compare with Kawasaki....I'm an owner since 18 months it has problems like poor handling wobling and suspension issues .Kawasaki is way beyond

I’ve owned my Royal Enfield Interceptor for six months now and really love the bike. It looks, feels and sounds like a British designed Twin should. And the workers in the plant in India did a superb job assembling it.
“Manufactured” or “assembled”? I’m interested in hearing what the difference is. And, no matter what definition anyone chooses to adhere to, the workers in India produced a superb motorcycle.

After very long gap royal Enfield has come up with such a wonderful craftsmanship, even a old re owner like myself could not resist to like the motorcycle, though people assume that old re were not reliable but mine never gave me any sweat even the engine is sealed and has the same emotion when it was new, I hope and pray that this one would be reliable too. I have watched this video many many time, dreaming to own the interceptor 650. And now I'm a proud owner of my interceptor 650 venture blue. Beautiful bike Beautiful machine, admiring when is parked at home ,office ,Cafe wherever it is parked and smile when I ride.
After using interceptor for an year,I still feel it has more potential in terms of technology and handling, Bike is good with stock package, but still they can go long ,I keep on riding and sharing my experiences. I would suggest, very first thing is Headlight, which needs to be worked.
I like where the old man looks at them with eyes filled with nostalgia 1:36 As if he has got a back story with his own interceptor ! That one frame talks a lot about the motorcycle and its rich history.

Yes, it is not about speed, agility, reliability, comfort, engineering or post-purchase service. It is about a delusional sense of manhood based not out of logic or ability but deep insecurity. A real "man" or a "rider" wouldn't bother fighting in the comments section on UA-cam, they would be out there riding or fixing their machine out in the open.
When will you guys introduce alloys wheels in this bike? As a solo traveler, I would personally prefer cast wheels. Don't want to be stuck in an isolated place with a tube puncture.

After very long gap royal Enfield has come up with such a wonderful craftsmanship, even a old re owner like myself could not resist to like the motorcycle, though people assume that old re were not reliable but mine never gave me any sweat even the engine is sealed and has the same emotion when it was new, I hope and pray that this one would be reliable too. I wonder re engineer could make right gear shift even as an option that will do wonders haha for old time sake and for those like me who loves right gear shift, from tsewang Tibet good luck guys

I have watched this video many many time, dreaming to own the interceptor 650.
And now I'm a proud owner of my interceptor 650 venture blue. Beautiful bike Beautiful machine, admiring when is parked at home ,office ,Cafe wherever it is parked and smile when I ride.
After using interceptor for an year,I still feel it has more potential in terms of technology and handling, Bike is good with stock package, but still they can go long ,I keep on riding and sharing my experiences. I would suggest, very first thing is Headlight, which needs to be worked.

When will you guys introduce alloys wheels in this bike? As a solo traveler, I would personally prefer cast wheels. Don't want to be stuck in an isolated place with a tube puncture.

A confident mechanic can repair tube puncture without removing the wheel rear wheel. Only rear wheel puncture is troublesome
