Summary:
This Blondie footage really captures the breakthrough era - right after "Parallel Lines" but prior to "Eat To The Beat," although they are beginning to unveil that material. Deborah Harry in prime vocal form and cute as can be. Clem Burke's manic drumming at its best.
I was a 12 year old boy at the time Debbie was the reason I knew I was straight and liked women, thank you, Debbie
Great version. Clem Burke and Debbie and the synth sound particularly great.
Parellel Lines tour. August 1979 Greek Theater, Los Angeles. Blondie (w/Rockpile). Great concert outside, under the stars (I need a time machine to relive it).
As a 15 year old this song made me realize I could only dream of having Debbie Harry so overly obsessed with me.
I was Hooked after I saw this in "79.......
Eric Evans So ahead of their time & such a great band... Cheers !
I was about 9 years old when Blondie hit the charts. Great band. Picture This and Pretty Baby are brilliant and Parallel Lines and Eat To The Beat are classic albums. Great music.
