    Sir using 3 data point, how the f'(x) values are 4times f(xi+1) and 3 times f(xi+2)... How 3 and 4 comes?

    Hi,
    i came across many pdfs for numerical differentiation. at some places they have derived the derivative when the points are equispaced using newton's forward, backward interpolation formula and sterling formula. can you please clarify this point?

    It will a great help for us.
    Coz error bounds guidelines me mentioned nhi hai, but kisi kisi college me kraya hua hai

      @@vanshverma2115 If you want to apply 3 point FDF use xi, xi+1 and xi+2 to calculate derivative at f(xi), so you need minimum 3 value f(xi), f(xi+1) and f(xi+2).

    Is the question paper and syllabus of bsc sem 6 and ge 4 exactly same?
