That sounds like a good un 👌🙏 providing its gear box is ok the fact its got zero flywheel chatter on bone cold after all that time is a good sign unlike the last golf gt tdi 140 I had 🙄🤣🤮!!!
@@H19XNS Just do full lock left to right and then just drive it a couple of meters forward it should clear the light on the instrument cluster. I believe it is because it has electric steering assist (servo) so it lost calibration when the battery drained, by doing full lock left to right you calibrate it.
Prefer these types of fix it uppers, Armstrong has swerved and gone to super cars now. But these cars are for the average person and what we are able to do on our path. Good luck
Good video bro nice to see more guys like you fixing up cars

Good cars. I got one of these. It's got 184,000 miles on it and still going strong.
Many miles to go for mine then, I’ve decided I’m going to use it as a daily so I’ll be modding it 😂
Disconnect the earth lead first. Reconnect last.
Hi if the golf has stop start you need the correct battery wich will cost twice as much as a standard one
Mine doesn’t have stop start mate I checked before I got the battery, thanks for the info though mate
God it started with out trouble 😮

The lights on the dash are there because the battery was dead. Take it for a quick drive and they should go out.
Cheers mate I’ll delete them with my snap on scanner in the next video as I can’t take it on the road yet 😂
