I would also like to see a comparison with current drivers and a driver in good condition from 10 years ago.. I don’t think the tech has changed much since the r7. Yes we have carbon faces but how much of a difference does it really make?
I love my TSR3 so I was pulling for it and glad to see it take the W. That Cobra was mighty impressive! That cluster of 3 shots on the green almost on the line in the first Titleist round pretty much won it, but Cobra hit back hard
These were the top two in my fitting this year. Ended up with the Cobra LS as it took my big over-draw miss out of play. Seems like either could be the top dog depending on what your swing needs and what miss you're trying to eliminate.
Awesome series! And gonna stick to my word that I posted in your IG post for this about if the Titleist wins, I'll get fit for one this summer. Looks like I gotta make that happen!
I bought the tsr3 a month ago. My previous driver was taylormade R510. I'm going through a swing change as well. Still getting used to it coming from a pretty old driver and when I hit it well it goes a freaking mile. Can't wait to continue practicing. It is such a forgiving driver. It sounds AWESOME too!
I tested - Ping G430 max, Stealth 2 +, Aerojet LS and Paradigm, 3 weeks ago at PGA superstore in Phoenix. All with stiff shaft. Aerojet LS was by far the best driver for distance without a doubt. All because of lower back spin I think but it's not a forgiving driver. Now I own one. Having said that every golfers swing is different so if you are thinking of buying you should try them and see which one fits for you the best !
Would love to see a this year vs last year series on new releases. Or if not its own series, making it an addition to new driver/wood testing. With every year model manufacturers make some big claims. I know you've done it a few times. But making it a consistent test with new releases would be great data. Especially useful for people who are on the fence about an upgrade and maybe don't have a huge budget to draw from.
I hit every driver and chose the Titleist TSR 3 and could not be happier. Longer, straighter and more forgiving than any other driver this year. I also bought the TSR 2 fairway woods. Super great kit.
I was pulling hard for the tsr3 and happy to see it win! I literally have been playing this exact same setup (tsr3 w ventus blue tr 6x 10.5). I had to use the hosel to turn the loft into 10.5 isntead of getting a 10.5 head though
I wonder if you can differentiate between penalties-: -1 for rough, -1.5 (or -2) for rock ands high weeds? I understand long drive contests are in or out-- but people can play out of first cut of rough, etc.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the videos since i stumbled upon them recently. How cool would it be to get to hang out in the studio with the boys, maybe hit some shots and totally geek out on golf tech? Seriously!!
The TSR looks, sounds, and feels much better than the Aerojet. In my opinion, that is well worth the extra 100 bucks. Not to mention, in a year, the cobra will be worth half as much. That doesn't matter to me because I get fit for my drivers, and I will play that driver for 3-5 years. Resale value does matter to a lot of people, so it should be factored in.
It’s interesting if you compare all first round results, TM and callaway would have been ahead. Curious how’d they stack up now with the nice swing changes you’ve made.
I would say that this reflects what I tested. The TSR3 is so easy to hit, and it feels super predictable. The Cobra is a monster. It goes miles, but it's difficult to tame.
Would love to see that first round with 3 drivers redone with Matt's new swing changes. Just as a comparison to see how far he's come and what they're capable of in the scheme of it all!
I feel you 😂 I previously had a Mavrik Sub Zero (very long and unforgiving) and G425 (very forgiving and not that long) but wanted a combo of the 2 and found it in TSR3 🙌🏽
Amazing Job! I am a TSI3 homer so was rooting for the TSR but that cobra wowed my eyes. The TSR was autopilot but the Cobra was the180+ machine. Hawkeye vs Hulk
So many great drivers this year. Like you two gents said, "There can be only one"....cheeky line from a Highlander 🙂 Sound and feel both go to Titelist? Sound is tough for me to discern between these two.
Saw this comment and it just made me literally laugh out loud, since I think Signs is a pretty good movie, a sci-fi, drama, and comedy in a way especially Merrill! Anyway, I was pulling for the Cobra as I play all Cobra but I said when the TSR3 launched that if I was in the market for a driver this year I would 100% either go Cobra or Titleist. Currently have the Cobra F9 SpeedBack, SpeedZone, and RadSpeed. My majority gamer is the SpeedZone, however, the RadSpeed and F9 do make appearances several rounds a season, which is just getting started up here in Central New York. Sorry for the long post, but I am just so pumped for golf to be back and to talk golf. Happy to see Cobra keep putting out great drivers, and clubs (and honestly to see Titleist crowned champ) because all I hear from my golfing buddies is TaylorMade is the best, hands down, no questions asked. Most all got the Stealth 2 (no questions asked again), and have been regretting it big time because five out of seven have been hitting their Stealth 2’s objectively worse by quite a bit in some cases (using our one buddies home golf sim/data analyzer and until quite recently being able to get out on the courses) than their Aeroburner, M-Series, and the SIM series that the Stealth 2 replaced for them each. Not saying TaylorMade is a bad company, very far from it, but none would even think Cobra or Titleist (or honestly any other brand) as a replacement. Hope you have a great season sir!
Great bracket. And makes me even more impatient for my incoming TSR3 that should arrive within a week - now I have another reason to be confident that my choice was right 😃
Considering I play the Titleist 909D3 in a steel shaft, I think I would like to go and try that TSR3... it seems like the one of the best drivers Titleist have ever released!
I think the results actually made the test appear much closer than what it was. The TSR3 is a way more playable and forgiving driver. For me the test highlighted what happens when you put a low MOI driver, being the Cobra at approx 4100 against a pretty forgiving driver, being the Titleist at 4900.
I think this show how important it it to get fit, I hit both of those in my fitting and i could not hit the tsr3 under 3k spin or straight, cobra ls was dead straight 2k-2,5k spin
The best brakes set of all time....and for the record I did say: TRS all the way! Pull it out Ian and let if fly. Oooh and YES I do play the TS...bit old but still Solid!
Interesting watch! I guess it really is down to the player as a few other youtube driver brackets ive seen the Cobra has comfortably beaten the tsr3 for ball speed/distance.
At the end of the bracket each year would be cool to see a shootout between the previous years (3 years maybe) bracket winners
Great idea, see if we're actually moving forward year over year with technology
Amazing idea
Absolutely
This is the way
This needs to be the next vid!
I think I speak for everyone when I say give us the Aerojet with an AutoFlex. Those ball speeds were outrageous.
If I could give a bigger thumbs up I would. THIS. NEEDS. TO. HAPPEN!!!
We need an Autoflex bracket. Take the top 4 and shoot them out at Ludicrous Speed.
Yesssssssssssssssss!
What are they using now? A Cuisinart?!?
I would also like to see a comparison with current drivers and a driver in good condition from 10 years ago.. I don’t think the tech has changed much since the r7. Yes we have carbon faces but how much of a difference does it really make?
I love my TSR3 so I was pulling for it and glad to see it take the W. That Cobra was mighty impressive! That cluster of 3 shots on the green almost on the line in the first Titleist round pretty much won it, but Cobra hit back hard
This is my favorite series, on any golf channel on YT, every year. And this was the best one yet! Thanks, boys! #bestinthebiz
HOLY CRAP WHAT A MATCH!!!! Unreal speed, what a series. Feels like the best Driver Bracket maybe ever
Cheers to the boys! Another bracket in the books, this one was a must see. The ball flight from titleist was amazing / looked so predictable. 🍻
The best golf data related content on UA-cam. Another great video
These were the top two in my fitting this year. Ended up with the Cobra LS as it took my big over-draw miss out of play. Seems like either could be the top dog depending on what your swing needs and what miss you're trying to eliminate.
This is the best. To see Titleist come from 917 to here has been awesome. Well done boys!!
Awesome series! And gonna stick to my word that I posted in your IG post for this about if the Titleist wins, I'll get fit for one this summer. Looks like I gotta make that happen!
The hitter of the said clubs deserves a lot of praise too!
Awesome final. Throughly enjoyed this bracket challenge.
WOW!!! Hammered those and can't believe how deep of an average we're seeing from both of these. What a phenomenal final 👏
AWSOME, entertainment value is over the top. Thanks guys.
Another amazing bracket. Bravo, Boys!
Very fun to watch ... keep up this great work!!!!
Helluva bracket. Very happy and appreciative to have the the boys back together this year for the best golf channel in the world 🤝🤝🫡
MyGolfSpy had the same forgiveness results - Aerojet LS won out, but the dispersion of the TSr3 is big if that's what you need.
Great video !!! Loved watching all these brackets!!! Fantastic!!!!!
Excelent series. Some incredible driving...Thank you.
Wow, incredible match! Great hitting and so exciting to watch!!
Wow! So close, so good! Good job guys! Thanks!
Dropped everything as soon as I saw this vid come out. Thanks for everything you do! Entertaining but also so informative.

They can’t sell you last year’s driver
@@brianwilson8433 I said thinking about an upgrade. Meaning they have last years model and can't decide of they want to upgrade to this year's.
I hit every driver and chose the Titleist TSR 3 and could not be happier. Longer, straighter and more forgiving than any other driver this year. I also bought the TSR 2 fairway woods. Super great kit.
An all-time strike clinic from the TXG Iron Byron!
I was pulling hard for the tsr3 and happy to see it win! I literally have been playing this exact same setup (tsr3 w ventus blue tr 6x 10.5). I had to use the hosel to turn the loft into 10.5 isntead of getting a 10.5 head though
I love my TSi3. It’s got me back to hitting it as far as I did 30 years ago! 😊
That was fun to watch. Nice work
Agree I bought the TSR3 3 weeks ago after a CC fitting and it’s by far the best driver I’ve ever had!
I wonder if you can differentiate between penalties-: -1 for rough, -1.5 (or -2) for rock ands high weeds? I understand long drive contests are in or out-- but people can play out of first cut of rough, etc.
Great bracket this year guys. Worth the anticipation
I have thoroughly enjoyed the videos since i stumbled upon them recently. How cool would it be to get to hang out in the studio with the boys, maybe hit some shots and totally geek out on golf tech? Seriously!!
Well done guys that was Brillionto, I'm looking forward to the 24 Bracket already👍👍
Both drivers did really well. Both have been at the top of my list.
If we are talking about price and performance combined together, nothing comes close to the aero jet this year
Or last year’s LTDx LS at $299😅
@@mjdm1925 Yeah pretty much. Mygolf spy had the AJ at 1 yard longer than the LTDx
The TSR looks, sounds, and feels much better than the Aerojet. In my opinion, that is well worth the extra 100 bucks. Not to mention, in a year, the cobra will be worth half as much. How did you pick out the shafts?
Great bracket!
I had my bets on the Cobra Aerojet LS and it was close, but the TSR3 is an absolute beast! To the champion goes the spoils!
I have the Aerojet LS and it's not difficult to tame at all. It's incredibly forgiving.
Thanks guys. That was awesome.
How do you put it up a half degree on the Titleist on the chart it only shows it going up by .75
Love it, Ian with the Highlander call out.
This format is amazing! 🔥🙏🏻
What a finish!
Just got fitted tsr3 at club champion! I'm pumped it was by far the best for me. Hits bombs! Ventus blue 6x, TSR3 8*
Fun stuff guys. Thanks
thanks guys...super fun to watch these bombs! 😆
Glad I have a TSr3 in the bag already. Absolute rocket launcher. Congrats lads on a good bracket
wow! one of the best finals ever! suuuuuper close
Would love to see that first round with 3 drivers redone with Matt's new swing changes. Just as a comparison to see how far he's come and what they're capable of in the scheme of it all!
What was the driver length spec on tsr3?
Yessss!!!
I don't mean to be hyperbolic but TSR3 has changed my life lol.
I feel you 😂 I previously had a Mavrik Sub Zero (very long and unforgiving) and G425 (very forgiving and not that long) but wanted a combo of the 2 and found it in TSR3 🙌🏽
Bombs! Always enjoy the bracket
I called this at the start of this year's bracket I knew that tsr3 would be a beast
I’m curious, with the Paradym y’all used the triple diamond but for titleist used tsr3. Isn’t 💎💎💎 more like tsr4?
Amazing Job! I am a TSI3 homer so was rooting for the TSR but that cobra wowed my eyes. The TSR was autopilot but the Cobra was the180+ machine. Hawkeye vs Hulk
So many great drivers this year. Like you two gents said, "There can be only one"....cheeky line from a Highlander 🙂 Sound and feel both go to Titelist? Sound is tough for me to discern between these two.
Swing away Merril!!! Excellent bracket fellas!!

Beautiful!
What about Matt's TSR2 vs the Bracket Winner?
Been waiting on this for what feels like forever
Nice work gentlemen!
👏👏👏great videos guys!
Was the ball being hit prov1 or prov1x?
That was amazing
Just curious, why such a low tee height?
Well done, Lads! Highly entertaining
All the TPC courses got pulled of of GSPRO:). Breaks my heart since I use it!
man that was epic what a good watch
heavyweight punch out!! Super entertaining!
" it needs to be 345 and straight" said like it's not big deal
Ahhhh heart breaker. I'm a Cobra player. Good test guys, thanks.
Love the bracket! 💪🏽💪🏽
Three words to sum it up “THAT WAS NUTS “
Cheers from NorCal
Great bracket. And makes me even more impatient for my incoming TSR3 that should arrive within a week - now I have another reason to be confident that my choice was right 😃
Just bought an authenticated Cobra Aerojet new on eBay for $300. Upgrading from a Radspeed XB, which I’ve enjoyed.
Considering I play the Titleist 909D3 in a steel shaft, I think I would like to go and try that TSR3... it seems like the one of the best drivers Titleist have ever released!
Hearing lots of good things about the zx5 mkii LS. Would love to see an appendix test vs the tsr3

The cobra is a hell of a driver for the price
Build a beast with the winner!!! LET'S GOOOOOOO
Would love to see him try the Aerojet LS on 10.5 draw setting!
The best brakes set of all time....and for the record I did say: TRS all the way! Pull it out Ian and let if fly. Oooh and YES I do play the TS...bit old but still Solid!
Love it !
Interesting watch! I guess it really is down to the player as a few other youtube driver brackets ive seen the Cobra has comfortably beaten the tsr3 for ball speed/distance.
Love my TSi3 not even thinking of changing any time soon
Couldn’t be happier with the results lol I’m playing a tsr3 with a ventus red tr 6x it’s a bomber 💣💣💣💣💣💣
3w bracket time??
3 wood bracket at some point? Just a throwing that out there.
The bracket is always fun. Let’s go buy a new driver now.
😱 that was incredible, the aerojet was faster but that Titleist is impressive. That should go in the bag for sure.
We need some Airhorn! And confetti! 😆
The whole series shows how much drivers are currently extremely good, and all comes to individual preference and fitting
Photo finish 😮
The Titleist seems like the Worcestershire blend of speed/distance with forgiveness. Great looking driver definitely have my eye on it.
Exciting!
