The Drunk Chessboard Demo - Only 16kb!

The effects in this demo are all computed on-the-fly. The program size, at 16kb doesn't have space for pre-rendered screens at all, no no page-flipping cheats with this one! That's what makes it SOOOO AMAZING!
My video capture device shows it's inferiority in this video. The muted-color chessboards are actually 256 color and beautiful. You get a flash here and there of what it is supposed to look like.

Dude, at least figure out how to sync your audio and video tracks. This is totally messed up.

You many be in Europe? That is a standard artifact of running a Pal-timed program on an NTSC computer. I'm used to hearing demos and games run 15% faster than they are supposed to. Jet Set Willy comes to mind.
The only oddity about this video is that the color chessboard parts are in 256-colors, but my video capture card is apparently not capable of capturing that wild a signal. The colors are dark, muted in those areas.
