The thing is they do not question. only if they made some efforts in understanding epidemic, psychological reasons, or a hidden society behind those sudden deaths. Why all those top scientists and highly educated societies don't face or see such supernatural things ? simple because their mind is more evolved and capable enough to question and bring into light such things through scientific and logical base.
@@lahsunsingh2005 can you point out the misbehavior to the female character in this movie? You're just used to the gangster culture in your state and you embrace that as your own. And this is also the reason a few of your people are demanding a separate country for themselves because you are just incapable of adopting a culture that may seem as superstition.
@@loveandlife5274 It's because of history and tradition. And by your vocabulary, it's pretty evident who's not educated. You really think these don't happen in educated cities? Well, Kerala has the highest literary rate in the country and just go visit it once instead of spreading blasphemy that is beyond your capability of understanding.
I do not why but the intro voice was funny. The whole concept related to kantara is so amazing to listen. I thing this oracle aslo happen in West Bengal, and Assam.
On the last point which he said it reminded me of Avijit Chavda where he said we should never mix science and spiritual realm.
Kantara has made everyone talk about udupi mangalore n bhoota amazing...everyone trying to be know more about our tulunadu gr8
I didn't expect Ranveer to not know Narendra Dabholkar..
There are deity possessions in Maharashtra too.. these deities cure diseases help people in problems regarding health, mental and physical..
3:34 I can confirm this. I'm 21am from the Iyer community- Shaivites basically. Once a very important item at an important time was seemingly missing from everywhere. Searched the whole house but couldn't find it, that when my paternal grandmother said, "Go place a coin in front of our "Araikaasu Amman" and pray to her you will find it soon". As soon as I did thatg, prayed from my heart and I found it just after some time i found it where I'd already looked!
That person is very knowledgeable, it's words really worthy. He experienced things correctly.
he has not experienced anything. he has just 10% knowledge which an average Tulu Nadu Kid has
A very similar practice still exists in Nepal, amongst the Newari culture in Kathmandu valley. The performers either paint their faces or wear a huge mask and dance !! They are also believed to be possessed … !!
Hi bro lot's of love from Tulunadu region ❤️🚩🙏 where Bhootkola celebrated
From. December all over South canara bhoota kola is performance will happen if u wanna witness on March 7-8 there is a performance in perar balavandi temple mangalore u can visit
Tamilans workship Karupasamy ., Etc., Also Jalli-kattu bulls gets fierce after workship of these god's. So they get more energy and fierce
This is very prevelent in Telangana state atleast in Karimnagar and nearby districts
This is very helpful, thank you. I love learning about other cultures.
Love from Mangalore
Daiva and Bhootha are different same as Kola and Nema is different
Bro bring anyone who belong Mangalore or udupi rather than these people. He doesn't know anything ABT our culture. For ur info bhootastana is situated in every village in Mangalore and udupi even in city. As you mentioned that people are uneducated u better ask ur wife how are the people in udupi and mangaluru are. U don't find mature people like Mangaloreans in any part of country. As a Mangalorean we don't blindly believe in nonsense,we know what to believe and what not.
Agreed. Best to bring in experts rather than this maverick.
Invite Dayanand Kathalsar to the podcast if you want deeper understanding about daiva , bhoota khola instead of podcasting someone with half knowledge about something.
Very true
Naturally you are against it, because you are a believer not a seeker .
@@nurturing8408 lol me and my ancestrals follow this tradition from ages and experienced it u aren't worthy to throw these dialogues at someone without knowing a person. My comment meant to bring someone with deeper knowledge and greater experience . I suggested Dayanand kathalsar caus he himself is a daiva aradhaka and nrathaka himself. Shareing complete and detail info from someone who has experienced it than people like this in podcast is what iam suggesting and people like you are taking in a wrong way.
@@JORDENDsouzaM I don't like to downgrade anyone because of my belief,I respect everyone equally
Don't talk if you don't know the fullest truth.
ending statement is quite good.
In Tulunad we worship Daiva there some daivas which belongs to other Religions even Chini bhoot is there one Garadi(Garadi is the place where bunch of daivas worshipped in a common place )
Ranveer get someone from dakhshina karnataka to talk about this ... especially koraggajja daiva
Panjurli origin is known. As per the folklore, It was a pet of lord Shiva, it was too mischievous, so Shiva killed it and made it a spirit God.
Bootha is not a ghost .that's why people from south canara call them as Daiva's not bootha
wonderful 🙌
We in Central Kerala has a system called Thullal which is something very similar
Ranveer you need to explore south odisha
This tradition is prevailing in Kerela, Tamil Nadu also
My grandmother's house they used to pray and give offerings to panjurli and kalkutika. Ranveer you should get a original person who performs bootharadhane and another well versed person who can translate the tulu language into English for you. In one of my cousin's house in South Canara all the jewelry and things used for Bhootaradane is kept in their ancestral house but nobody lives there and whenever the Kola takes place the jewellery is taken from there and also in this house three Boothas which are worshipped are in pindi forms. Your guest tell about pretha but after a human dies when proper pinda shraad is not done then it takes a pretha form. How can he compare Bootharadhane to pretha?
In many villages in punjab people get possessed by sikh warriors called shaheedi singhs. This possession is believed to be positive and only happens when a person pleases these warriors. These warriors are believed to have attained moksha but they can travel from sachkhand to mat lok as they want.
This whole talk feels like the interviewees perspective of things not an informed talk. Ranveer tries to associate and link everything frim other cultures to our traditions even though its clear the understanding and concepts are not the same.
Sorry to say but Bhootakolas happen in cities as well. I'm from Mangalore. Proper city area to be precise... heart of the city if I could say n you see kolas happening within a km radius here... n you can ask any Mangalorean...and I beg to differ...kolas happen everywhere in our south canara regions...city, town, village doesn't matter. If the deity resides there we worship him or her. So it's not a foreign concept. It's a way of our living and they are as important as our gods to us. For us they are our protectors, our ancestors. We call them ajja(grandpa), Amma/appe(mother)...so yes there's fear and devotion but more than that... there's love ❤️ For them we are their children. They call us their baale(child). A suggestion if you could really get someone from this region to speak about our beliefs.
Our family worship these boothas (daiva)
Sathya devatha
Manthra devatha
Kallurti
Panjurli(varaha roopam)
Guliga
Dear Ranbeer...Come in Gujarat every village you will find Mata (deity) , possession , and you can ask question and know your future also...
We are Hindus carried old culture with us not destroyed like others in Asia,Europe,Africa and America..we should not go on westerners way…we are civilised before others
The worst thing ever happen when I'm concentrating in the conversation and a ad pops up ☹
Ranveer well done...But please bring someone from managlore, like Raj b Shetty , or Rishabh shetty
I'm too from Udupi
It happens in our family also.. that's devta from our ancestors. Any soul like you and me can becomes these kinda devta in next birth and have these powers... These spirits live in heaven and come here for their people and also they like this because human give lot of respect and every soul likes taking respect.
Kantara is a superstitious movie
@@sahilkataria8630

Hey TRS guy..
DO NOT CALL OUR GODS AS HORROR ..
The 2 god's in KANTARA are VISHNU and SHIVA ..
Mind it ..
I have seen daiva possessions in Bengal. There have been instances where the possessed person solved domestic problems and healing the diseased.
Very shock that you don't know Dr narendra Dabholkar 😮😮
this shudn come under HORROR :-((
He is telling truth.
A deity once told me how much I earn and said that should be sufficient for a good life 🙏
We celebrate this as in our culture and as a mandatory worship to bhootas in our families people living around world come during vacation to our native and worship bhoothas in the form of kola people irrespective of religion do participate during the kola
These all things are very common in South India
They’re good spirits people worship them they are very powerful and you offer them things in return there’s nothing about horror or anything in this they are just like gods
It's also practice in goa n Maharashtra also same as Bhoot kola i am also a medium n do seyons n help people
Whatever he said about boothas is vague . He him self lost his roots.. first he says he is from Udupi and Mangalore region..later he says his wife is from Udupi.. and he is not ..also he don't know any thing about villages in south canara.. booths sthana are persent in middle of the town and citys also...
Same thing in Kerala Mopla massacre like event Vasco de Gama like monsters happened deities didn’t intervene
3:20 this is true I heared this kind of many story
Basic conversation principle Indian myth -> factual science in beer biceps, bhoot -> bhoota, pret -> preta
sobo people would label anything "horror" which they did not heard of or the things they cant understand!
Horror section ? 😂 Bro, don't get scared of the divine.
First thing it is not bhoota Kola it is daiva Kola
And if you really want to know about it, get someone from Mangalore Udupi, they can explain it in the right way. He don’t know much about it.
Please change the horror playlist channel to something else
Every Indian Village has extreme Jadu Tuna cases, spooky vibes, but that’s our great Culture, that people want us to not get into🙌🔱🙌

In bengal we worship charak puja we worship maa kali
Ranveer should read about Narendra dahbolkar
He is dead
Iam from Udupi
It's so common in Kerala...
There is a lot of mistake in explanation punjuli is daiva not bhootha and this ritual is not practiced only in village but also in city. Sir you have to interview a person from mangalore or who actually know the ritual
Kola, bhoota is very common in udupi, mangalore, even non hindus know about it.
I am daily going KA21 🔁KL14,😇
Please read about what happened on the day of late Kushwant Singh's mother ,you will also believe what even a non believer like Kushwant Singh had to believe.
did it happen in real ?
Please bring in appropriate experts to comment on this subject matter. I am not sure if it should be classified as horror.
He is not quiet right about theyyam , Kola etc. These are very much interlinked with god. Not spirits or anything. There is Lakshmi, Vishnu, Bali, Sugriv, etc. Almost 40+ theyyams are there. It's literally that form of the God communicating.
And that town people (kerala) comes to Halli (tulunaad )for education, job, hospitals 😂😂😂
Does anyone know whether bhoota kola is happening this year in the last week of May and where?
Bhai parsana ban gya😅
