I must admit, I will forever hold this gentleman in such high esteem. I have learned so much more than I ever knew in my life about mens clothing, things I would have never know with out this man and his team. Hearing his story just made me respect him more, all the best to the gentleman's gazette team! Nothing but respect and support to you and your team forever Mr. Schneider.
1. Love the winchester shirt with the club collar! 2. Whenever I watch old videos of the gentleman's Gazette I do miss the Hallmark introduction: Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette! 3. I have a few bow ties at home but so far I didn't dare to wear them outside. I hope 7 will give me the strength to jump over my shadow and wear it eventually.
I love the "collection" videos, since you have one of the best and most unique gentlemen styles when it comes to every piece of your outfit. Great video as always!
Having had a very stressful day in my secular activity serving mammon to sit down and watch one of your videos has helped put life back in to perspective. Thank you again. Now I'm going to have to start buying now ties to collection of over 200 normal ties.
As a joke for like April fools or something you should start off with "today I'm going to show off my underwear collection" : -). But seriously how about a sock, glove and scarf collection next.
I’m 26 and I, this past year, decided to only wear bow ties going forward, no neckties. I’m a middle school teacher and so I need to pick up trash students leave in my classroom or markers I drop when teaching or any number of things. Standard neckties get in the way and flop around whenever I lean down. This was somewhat mitigated by the fact that I always wear either a blazer or vest every day, but still it gets in the way. A bow tie stays in place and I don’t have to worry about it. I also decided I wanted to try and standardized the look I go for (being inspired by movie costume designing videos I’ve always been fascinated by) and using bow ties only instead of a mix of bow ties and neckties helps.
Nice bowties. I only have a few bowties, adding to my collection bit by bit. I think estate sales are the way to go. I recently picked up a vintage briefcase where the seller got it at an estate sale.
I purchased my first bowtie in my alma mater’s colors. I wear it to functions at the college for alumni. Now that I am in the alumni association I shall wear it more. Though I need one for the colors of the college in which I teach!
As I'm trying to start a bow tie company 😂. Also this is probably my favorite channel on UA-cam! I've been watching it for a long time and I still can't fail to find new videos
Meninfluencer I didn’t expect you here, I really appreciate and admire the effort you put into your videos. Just like the Gentleman’s Gazette! Keep it up! I think you have a lot of potential. 👊🏻💛
I've worn a bowtie and I've actually gotten complements. I personally think bowtie's come off has less formal and I think they look better with a cardigan, quarter zip, or a cable knit sweater than a suit jacket. Also, I can pull them off just fine but I have to ask. Are bowtie's Chad? Too often I see bowtie's being worn and I think the person is just using it has personality gimmick.
MG Exactly. I mean yeah, I've seen photos of men dressing in bow ties looking very stylish and rakish. And in that context it works has a kind of stylish middle finger. But I don't think I can take the bowtie too seriously has a formal piece and I don't think they present well when taken seriously either. Bowties should be casual and light hearted. That's when they show their strength. Unless your James Bond. He's the one guy who does a serious bowtie well.
Could someone give me feedback on my suit outfits? I have a dark charcoal grey 3 piece suit that I wear with either a burgundy shirt with navy tie and pocket square or white shirt with gold tie and pocket square.
😂 I wonder how big your closet is??? Does you wife have the left side of your house and you have the right side? I really do take your men’s fashion sense to heart. Thank you for your guidance.
Hey Sven! I'm having trouble finding the difference between a madder and ancient madder silk bow tie. I've even read some of your articles and then the term "shantung" gets thrown in the mix, which I 'think' is a type of stripe pattern. I like the rough look your green 'shantung' bowtie has with the picks in it; is the rough look what is described as 'Madder'?
Those are not proprietary terms. A lot of Italian printers create something that they call madder, which is different from what you get from England. At the end of the day ancient madder is supposed to imply it is the original method of doing it, but truth be told the chemicals used in that process are not legally allowed anymore today. So vintage madder silk from England is always unique. In Itally madder means it has gum added and a soft hand, in England it means dye and discharge process.
From my experince of conversations with germans in english, I must say that Raphael actually have at least a slight german accent. And I also should add that I know how it sounds like since I`am a foreigner and I studied German for 3 years at school :)
he probably did learn to speak english without having an accent and spelling each word correctly. it sounds slightly brittish, correct me if i'm wrong.
Bowties came back into fashion because the 11th Doctor Who made them popular again. If we'll give credit to Mad Men for reinvigorating classic men's styles from the late '50s, we have to give Matt Smith's Doctor Who his due too for making bowties cool again.
Who comes to this channel for relaxation and a brief respite from the stresses of life....in addition to all the great information....
There's almost an ASMRness to it.

I also miss the introduction. Very classy.
I agree about those of us who enjoy wearing bow ties....our collection is vast....enjoy your weekend with your wonderful famil..peace
I look forward to your tie collection

I, personally, think the velvet prototype looks great. Hope it comes to the shop quickly.
Bow ties are my go to when I wear a shirt and tie. It adds a look many men are not doing and I have found out the ladies like the look.

Boxer Briefs are best (mid thigh).

Great knowledge behind your fabulous collection. Thank you. "Ladies love the bow tie."
I dont even wear suits and ties I just like watching you talk about them XD
You look so happy with all your bowties!
I'm looking to get my first bow tie because I have a bunch of weddings to atend this year. Thanks for educating. Danke Sven!
i really enjoy the jazzy saxophone intro.
it has something classy.

Am I the only one here, who thinks, that Raphael will look even more dapper with a moustache?
Maybe he can wear one for movember (mustache november)? I know I am and it is for a great cause!
The moustache I am talking about is a question of growing for around 4-5 weeks
Which still applies for Movember since it is a 4 week thing. @@fedormakarov3309
Oh, just read about the movember event, interesting thing. But complete nice moustache will be only at the end of the event(
@@fedormakarov3309 True, a great mustache takes time.
wow.............YOUR COLLECTION , IS INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS......................THANK YOU , FOR THE SHARE................

Any idea where to find more affordable options? I’ve noticed Fort Belvedere options are rather costly.
I had lots of bow ties but I have lost them over the years but I would like to own some again, thanks for posting.
Interesting collection & I have Black & White Bowties but the Brown & Blue paisley caught my eye 🤘🏼
I love wearing bowties with classic sport coats or blazers.
Love the collection! Hopefully the closet tour will be coming soon.
Impressive collection, I've gut close 200 or more myself.
I need to buy a green and navy striped tie to wear to my college!

MrTrenttness How many Chads do you see wearing bow ties? 0

Started wearing bow ties because of Doctor Who. Now I can’t get enough of them.
Bow ties are cool
Now all I need is a fez.
Gives you that "apart from the crowd" look.
Always great content from you my friend 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love wearing Vintage Suits everyday! I also wear Bow ties & Ties
You should make a video on long coats. Not like long over coats but long suit coats if that makes any sense
You make me wanna try start wearing bow ties.
have you ever tied a necktie into a bow tie? my bow ties I wear are actually neckties... this is great for lighter weight but strong fabrics.
Where do I find wider bulky thick soled rounder toe box wingtip shoes? Allen Edmonds McNeal is too tapered.
Excelent video! I like to talk of suspenders.😉
Congratulations.
I grabbed a handfull of old clip on bows from a FREE table - they look gloriously stiff and artificial, and sometimes that is the right look
You should do a Tuxedo collection! 😄
Very nice.
Could someone give me feedback on my suit outfits? I have a dark charcoal grey 3 piece suit that I wear with either a burgundy shirt with navy tie and pocket square or white shirt with gold tie and pocket square.
I am looking for a tweed self-tie, they seem to be only available in pre-tied. Is this an issue with tweed?
Nice!
A friend gifted me a bow tie because he knew I had an interest in classic clothing. That's all. That's the story.
It's a good story.
@@Psydrre agreed.

Could you make a video about Greetings? How to greet new persons and women. Give a kiss or shake hands ? Thank you!
I said tie collection not bow ties!

Bruh , you looking evil in the thumbnail
