  • I found this engine advertised on the marketplace. A recent paint job covered a few unexpected problems that I missed upon initial inspection.
    Look them over good!!!!

    Recently purchased a 1952(I think) FM Z engine. 7hp. I'm new to this hobby and looking forward to the experience. I'm a boiler man by trade but steam equipment is much harder to deal with without a nice boiler. So, gas engine it is for now. looking forward to part two...

    most of those engines the gas tank was in the base of the engine that was most likely rusted our a long time ago they either couldn't make a new gas tank or either didn't want 2 take the time 2 make a new 😮😮 alot of those old engines U have remake the parts 4 them your self 😊😊 many years ago alot of those engines were sold brand new at hard ware stores and the time they were being made tractors were just seeing light back and most tractors were just being made in the 191OS 😊😊 OMG 11 21 2O23

    I have the same engine and is been hard to find any information on it...I am trying to set the timing and dont know where to look for timing marks? There is none on the gears on crank shaft.

    clay might 😊😊 work I never tried it most people use babbitt Wright when pouring babbitt bearings U also have 2 pre heat the bearing halfs and the bearing beds U can't pour new babbitt bearings cold they won't turn out right 👉 😮 when U do 😊😊 OMG 11 21 2O23
