Poly Bridge in Real Life (Multiple Bridges)

- With Poly Bridge 3 coming out, I thought it would be fun to bring a few Poly Bridge levels to life in the real world. This is a way to honor the design style we've all grown to love from the middle-child game, and it's also just a silly project to give me something to do so I stay out of trouble.
With painting, 3d printing, foam work, and more, these bridges finally exist in the real world. Shoutout to @RealCivilEngineerGaming for being the target of multiple references throughout the video!
Hydraulics are a nightmare irl and not just in the game!? Thanks for confirming! 😅
Thanks for recommending this !
Who are you again ? And why are you commenting from paddy's channel.
From a mechanical engineer, yep. Very hard to control the exact position too, if made from scratch.
I do believe they are still interesting and maybe fun to discuss. But definitely not easy haha

Excuse me mate, it's currently 7minutes past 5. I need my fix man....
I love how it looks almost exacly like in the game!
Your bridge stays on its own mostly bcs your road is solid piece i Poly Bridge road and all the other stuff is segmented and have full 360 rotation. If you want to improve "realism" of your bridge i would suggest swaping road w segmented pieces able to rotate (not 360 of course bcs its impossible irl but just include more ability to rotate) to further improve it you might test and scale to our world poly grams and strength of the materials. Anyway very good idea and video.
Additional: If you would like help in designing, im willing to help
Very fun video dude! I’d absolutely watch a full series like this! 😅
2:03 Oh woah, that's awesome! It totally worked!
I love 3d mini models. I love the idea of making mini models of pc games. I’ve always thought it be neat if someone made poly bridge irl. I hope you continue making videos. You’ve gained your 237th sub from me.
Came here from a shout from RCE, was not disappointed. Great video. Subbed.
Nice job with this build. That mountain looks fantastic!
My favorite project we did at school was very similar to this. We used tubes of rolled up paper and hot glue.
Most striking to me was that we spent an entire hour playing with constructions made of triangles and squares to internalize the point that triangles are stable and squares are not. Yet everyone except us made their bridges out of squares. /shrug
This was so fun to watch. Thanks for all the time you put into it.
Great video, good production value. Subbed and I hope you continue to do well!

Really nice models to look at, thank you for making this
Well I thought the thumbnail was a screenshot from the game so A+ there for sure
RCE sent me here
You could have easily gotten sponsored for this!
I really need to see the one with hydraulics now!
Nice video, you're on a good way😊
This is so cool! I love the way everything looks and the way you used 3D printing! Congrats on making the coolest thing I've seen all week! By the way, if you're interested in getting any of the actual 3D models from the game, I can send them to you over discord!
UA-cam hates me right now and I've been trying to send all of this for the past two hours, I'm 'Mason "workshop boy" ator' in the Poly Bridge server lol

I would love to see the bridge collapse so please make the van heavier or the road weaker
That's a first video to be proud of !
Fascinating
❤ I LOVE 3D MINIATURE MODELS. THIS IS ADORABLE!
the fact there's working hydraulics 💀 the creativity this person have -
Hydraulic are nightmare
RCE approved and certified 😅😂
YOOO! thats sick! those 3D prints look so good!
Dude, fantastic job, that looks só good!! Very impressive how well you managed to recreate the polybridge look. And made functional bridges! The trusses mattered!
Would be cool to see a succesful hydraulic bridge in action! Dropping a sub in the bucket for that ✌️
The music is uncharacteristically intense for polybridge imho tho 😅
game devs needs to sponsor this guy ASAP
RCE gang
RCE sent me here😊

Awesome creation!
I thought the thumbnail was from the actual game.
This is so awesome. Subbed!
You should definitely have another go at the hydraulics, there must be a way!
The omission of the strongest shape is a bit disappointing.
Please do more 😝
Fun
RCE SENT ME reply if he sent you to
3:40 No he edited. I tried to believe him. But he just stuck the road piece on either side
RCE brought me here 😁
🎉🎉🎉

RCE shoutout based, but the video was just meh. First I appreciate your effort and the design is really beautiful. But you had one hydraulics fail and then just call it a day? And in the end you reveal that the bridge holds up without supports and call that a win? I'd call that a loose. Making sure the bridge actually breaks without supports would have been the first thing I did.
bro chill, this is their first video ever, made for what they probably assumed would be 20 people max, not meant to be extremely satisfying and engaging to thousands of people. you shouldn't be complaining that this first-time content creator wasn't immediately able to make something that went farther above and beyond than they already did

First video and already a hater writing meaningless essays in the comments! That means they're a REAL youtuber, very impressive to get there so fast.
Your videos are amazing lol
Nice
