Don’t Draw Lips Like Most People 🙄 SAY NO TO THE JUICY STYLE

The issue with the “juicy” lips style is that it’s everywhere online. Lots of artists are all about making lips look super shiny and puffy, but it’s kinda overdone. This style can make the lips seem kinda fake and not connected to the rest of the face. So, instead of just following the crowd, it’s cool to try different ways of drawing lips to make your art stand out more.

Marco bucci has a great tutorial on drawing/painting the mouth. I find your approach to painting the lips interesting because typically I would paint the upper lip darker to start since it's generally a downward facing plane
