This is the first peach based look I’ve ever liked, I always look like I’m decomposing whenever I’ve tried but will give this a go. Excepting the Jenner product.
Yes please to a video on long lasting 'quenchers'! What a lovely soft and subtle warm look. Very weddingy and yes, I can see it now as a Summery evening look too. The idea of toning down make up to let the strong colours/patterns in your outfit sing, is new to me, but yes, I can see that it creates a balanced look. I think it also conveys confidence and sophistication when make up is toned down, it says that you like your face and you're just giving it a hint of make up ( even if you've been applying it for ages to get that look; blending, blending, blending!) and that you are making a statement that you don't need to hide behind a mask of make up. That comes from someone who for ¾ of the years is dark smokey eyes and neutral cheeks and lips! Thanks, Caroline. Beautiful as ever. X
Ooh Caroline, can’t wait for your brushes!!! Love that elf eyeshadow and very often use it as a cream blush because it’s a lovely peach colour AND it doesn’t shift, like cream blusher has a tendency to do throughout the working day (especially as I mostly sit at my desk with face resting on hands 😂. Have a great weekend ❤xx
Morning Caroline. Tea and a video, my favourite morning routine on a Saturday. Lovely colours. It's pure art what you're doing. When you explain it, I understand what all these steps and choices can do to the face and the person. It's so well thought out, I admire that. I enjoy make up and you help me to get better at it. Besides, it's a joy to watch you. 😊
Ooohhhh brushes by Caroline❤❤❤❤ Love all your tips/tricks!! Her makeup was lovely… not big on the “wet” hair look for a big night out, but the bright dress was beautiful and her makeup matched the vibe of that dress beautifully❤❤
Love these ‘less is more’ 🫶 tips for soft makeup to accentuate the eyes and lips esp for mature skin. I highly value seeing products that you use and know work in affordable range for most def will try BPie spray ❤❤❤❤❤
I love those peachy tones. I’ve been searching for ages for a blusher to replace the one in the warm palette from Beauty Pie, which is discontinued, and finally landed on a Laura Mercier blusher in Peach. It gives a lovely warm glow but is so subtle.
I am so thrilled that apricot/coral is coming into style, it is the shade that truly makes my complexion sing 😊 I’d love to see a video about all things peachicot P
Absolutely beautiful colour combination. On me though I would always need a little more eye definition with a brown or bronzey pencil, but the blusher and Lisa lip are perfection ❤
Caroline I love love love makeup and watching you is such a joy. The light textures with seasonal colours you teach us not to be afraid of are wonderful. I appreciate you and the many hours of thought and preparation you put in, thank you❤❤❤. Btw the Sun earrings so fun and whimsical 🌞
Ahhh Caroline that was mega brill!! Loved the chat about the skin prep ..heres me ready for red carpet lol but really loved the explanation of all and reationale lol ..its a stunning look and suits you so well thank you :) ps the blusher v interesting colour i have vieve one which is quite similar but that one slight pinker edge perhaps its beaut xx❤❤
Morning Caroline. I love Saturday mornings in bed watching my favourite makeup artist. Best part of my week. Coffee ready, all snuggled up and play........
Me too! I go down to the kitchen, make my oatmeal and coffee, bring it up to bed and snuggle in and have breakfast with Caroline. I wonder how many of us are doing that together? Of course, not at the same time lol because I'm in Minneapolis and you sound like you're in Scotland. maybe we could take a poll and see how many of us eat breakfast with Caroline?
Good morning to you Caroline, I really like this makeup look! Peachy-fresh! Always look forward to seeing your videos ! You have taught me techniques that I wouldn’t have learned on my own!
Caroline , please can you tell me where you buy all your lovely jewellry, particularly earrings , I admire them every week , they are so modern and fun, just like you ❤
Which ones? I wear lots from my friends company called Cheerings as they are cute and original but some I have add for a while.. I’ll make a link to mention new ones 💋
@@SpeedBeautybyCarolineBarnes Thank you so much Caroline , that would be great , I particularly like the little hoops with the colourful dangly bits , lol ,sorry best I can describe them, much appreciated , looking forward to saturdays video x
I'm Dutch-Indonesian, turning 58 in two weeks, and already have been switching to softer tones/less make-up over the past years. It just makes you look better, when you age. But having a tinted skin, would it be possible to give some tips or ask your friend again for a make-over? Would love that!! 🔥
I know you have been doing this for a while but do you ever get nervous about the looks you and your clients have chosen for these huge events? The peachy look is so pretty.
Actually I really don’t… once I know where they are going, what the light will be and on twist they are wearing it every instinctive for me. It’s my happy place 🙏🏻
What a beautiful look! I must try and find a similar colour blush to that one. Your own brushes!!! How exciting! I do hope you will be shipping internationally or there could be a riot lol! Have a great week Caroline xx
Morning Caroline! On holiday with 9 family members ... absolutely lovely, but a brief escape with your gorgeous video may preserve my sanity 😆. Adore this soft coral look, will definitely recreate this 😍
Caroline, what a beautiful refreshing makeup application. As I get older less is more and this look is so flattering. I love the simplicity of the eye makeup, so nice to not see so many colors for a change. As always this looks stunning on you! ❤
Absolutely love this look. I've always been slightly wary of too much peach as I have dark hair and light/medium skin tone and thought it would maybe wash me out. I'll give this a try with a bolder outfit colour and see if it's more effective. lovely.x
Hi Caroline. I love that you said makeup should Bejewel your face ❤ I would like if you could you talk about how to know when your products need to be replaced? The expiration dates of my Dior eyeshadows are 6 months. When the product is so expensive, I tend to keep it much longer.
Beautiful look 🤩 So excited to hear about your brushes. Great job👌Was going to preorder the Wane Goss brushes, but I think I’ll own wait for yours 💃🏻Can’t afford both🙃 What do you think about the Sweed Cloud mascara? Is the Lash Lift better and what about their serum? Thank you so much for your precious help 🙏🙏💖
Wow Caroline, that was a great video, your skin looks just gorgeous. I've added a couple of things to my shopping list, just loved the idea of such a small brush for blushes. Thanks again.❤
GM Caroline. My normal watching time is in bed on a Saturday morning, but this week I’m in Canada on vaca, so saved u to watch on the train between Toronto and Montreal. I wanted this video to go on for the whole journey. What a beautiful look, and how beautiful u looked, with and without the makeup. TY for keeping me company every Saturday. ❤
I really enjoy all of your videos but this one was amazing! Really lovely look. As soon as you put the Elf Eyeshadow on your eyes popped. Can't wait till next Saturday night to get my Caroline fix lol xx
Lovely result Caroline 💖 I’ve not seen the Keren Bartov range before, but looking at the serum the first three ingredients listed are silicones - which is disappointing, especially for the price. I know silicones are great for putting makeup onto but for some of us it’s terrible for our skin and causes breakouts. I’d rather pay that price and be getting mainly active ingredients. Which is different with Sarah Chapman, great to see her mentioned. I’ve used the skincare for 10yrs now and credit it with keeping my skin looking fab and any time I’ve been tempted to try something else I’ve always gone back to it. Really worth the price. I use the concentrate daily moisturiser, both oils and stem cell treatment now and again.
Hi Caroline. I bought a foundation that's too light for South asian olive skin tone. How do I make it match my skin colour so make the foundation a shade darker? Thanks
How do you do it Caroline? Another beautiful look, and I will definitely be getting some of those brushes. I need them to help me get subtle light and shade in my face. I watch how you achieve this every week but still by the time I’ve used concealer/bronzer/blush, it all tends to merge together. Thank you for another bout of inspiration and perfect colours too. And yes please to ‘quench’. ❤
Yes you are correct although i wouldn’t use models I’d paint my friends or people to know just tricky to organise when I’m juggling pro work but plan to do more come September
Caroline there is something very poetic about your descriptions...you are the make up laureate and a joy to watch ❤❤❤
This is a treasured comment ❤️
This is the first peach based look I’ve ever liked, I always look like I’m decomposing whenever I’ve tried but will give this a go. Excepting the Jenner product.
Decomposing 😂😂😂

So pretty. Echo Clare's request at the beginning for long lasting 'quenchers'/ serums! and I look forward to your brush launch

Such a gorgeous make up, fairly simple looking and not to over powering and fresh 😊
