Makes you want to rush off and put make up on your face, Julie? Yeah, that sounds about right, for a woman. There's a war raging in Europe, the banks are crashing down like dominos, there're floods and earthquakes all over the world, and woman is concerned about looking pretty and knowing how to apply make up correctly. Dear, oh dear. What a pathetically and laughably useless species.

After the three bereavements which occurred over the last 5 years, I stopped wearing makeup. I have aged considerably (63 yrs), going noticeably greyer with many wrinkles, and sagging skin. In addition I wear glasses all the time and my eyes stream constantly in the cold and the wind. A recent photograph was a shock. So, I have watched your video very carefully and bought the elf shadow, and tubing mascara. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻. Thank you for guiding me in the right direction, hope I’ve not left it too late.x

What a great tutorial... and boy oh boy, have I watched a few since Covid began! I'm mature w/hooded, watery eyes. I wld never have thought that using the eyeshadow stick all over the undereye wld make your eyes bigger. I have struggled with so many eyeliners that either jump over the skin under my eyes or r too difficult to lay down. Back in the day I used my hands to apply LM tinted moisturizer but since getting older and having a lot of time on my hands because of Covid I started using all kinds of brushes, including the Rephr 28 you demoed, though I always used it to lay down on the lid or work on the outer V, never thought about using it as u did or blending w/my fingers. I follow Wayne Goss, James Welsh, Sugarpuffandfluff along w/5 American Y-tube Influencers but you showed me several tricks that none of them had so thank you so much. Of course, I subscribed and will be looking forward to learning more from you and your channel.

Hi, I just saw your comment. Oftentimes, it can be too much hydration in the area, so the product on eyes doesn't adhere to skin. Have you ever used Uriage, or Bioderma? Give a swipe underneath eyes before applying your eyeliner, mascara, or whatever. They're gentle around the delicate eye area. Also, giving that hydrating product sufficient time to settle in is important. Hope these suggestions might help, I know that my eye makeup wasn't staying put because of one the above or combination!!Good luck 👍

This is a true make up tutorial! I so love these videos, and only watch very few from you and others, like Lisa Eldridge. Actually teaching us how to do make up! While I already employ these tricks of following the eye shape and using a smolder technique, I still learned quite a bit from you and decided to go ahead and do my make up alongside this video following your techniques! And I notice fantastic difference! I love using different color, eyeshadows to line my eyes along with my eyeliner, and it just creates such a beautiful look. Your tip about not taking concealer all the way up to the wash line is very helpful because that’s some thing I’ve been doing and it does completely make sense not to do that because you’re going to be putting eyeshadow there anyway and when you’ve already got skin care on, it can be a bit much my eyes look fantastically, huge and very flattering in photographs, or in the mirror at a distance. I don’t feel too dark and sultry at all. When it’s blended out as you showed us here and you’re using medium depth colors, it’s just beautiful!

Hi Caroline a quick comment on the Rosalique - it's far too dark for pale skin. I have rosacea (and eczema btw), so redness is a daily battle. All of these green to "skintone" products are too dark eg this one and the Dr Jart version to name just two. I'm the palest of the pale fitzpatrick one and my skintone is the most affected with redness, yet all of these products are aimed at a more light to medium skin - redness is less obvious the darker your skintone is. Instead I use a green colour corrector and my fave is the one from vichy (it's in a small pot). I apply and let it melt into my skin (around 5 mins), then apply my base product. It does work for pale skin because it doesn't turn "beige" or orange. Best wishes.

What a brilliant video, just what I needed to help me with my aging hooded eyes. Clearly explained and encouraging 😊 Off to give this a go! Thank you
