Use a 6gal Torpedo keg for fermenting some of my beers too. Great quality product. Great idea welding a 1.5" TC to the lid. Curious to see how that works out for you.
It looks like a great keg. I am curious exactly how much it can hold. I have some of the 10L/2.6 gal Torpedo kegs, but they max out closer to 2.8 gallons. I have heard the slimline versions hold a bit less than the rated amount.

Interesting!!! The box says 6.1 gallons but I haven’t checked it exactly yet. Maybe I will when I make a new batch of Star San. Sláinte
